Ritos eat other types of bird, humans eat other types of mammals (e.g. pork or beef), so it shouldn't be that surprising. Usually it is only cannibalism if you eat of the same species, so if she wanted some Rito meat, I'd understand it. Other types of poultry, like Cuckoos should be fine.
For number 3, it actually does make sense, because Rito do eat smaller birds, like how in real life birds of prey do eat other smaller birds. Also, for 29, it could be said that the bow simply splits the arrow into 3 shards, which break upon impact, which is why you can't pick them back up yet still take only 1 arrow.
And then there’s the elemental, bomb and ancient arrows. Somehow those arrows can split into multiple shots, especially bomb and ancient arrows. Like how do the explosives in the bag in the bomb arrow tip split into 3 or 5 while still have the explosives be enclosed in all of the arrows. Or how does the ancient arrow split while still having the same effect in all the arrows being shot. Surely splitting an ancient arrow will break it and render it incapable of defeating guardians or disintegrate enemies.
0:47 well, no Ritos are birds, a class of animal. They belong to the Aves class. (eagle, duck, penguin...) Humans are primates and belong to the Mammalia class. (wale, horse, monkey, cow...) So Ritos eating a chicken, goose, or duck, is the same as humans eating a cow, pig, or sheep.
There’s a way to get rid of Boson and Karson for good, but you only have one chance to do it. When you help Hudson build Terry Town, get to the point where you help Hudson get married. Bolson and Karson will come to the wedding and when it’s over then they’ll sit next to the cook pot in Terry Town. Now this next part is very important. DO NOT SPEAK TO BOLSON AFTER THE WEDDING. Specifically Bolson as you can still talk to Karson without anything happening. If you speak to Bolson while he’s sitting at the pot, he’ll say it’s time to head back home and then he and Karson will get up and go back to Hateno village and proceed to SIT IN FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY. So just never speak to him again and you’re good. I haven’t spoken to him since 2019 and it’s been bliss!
To answer your question about the Rito. When it comes to birds eating other birds, hawks, falcons or owls are usually the birds that come to mind as typical predators. If you have a backyard feeder, chances are that a Hawk or two (or more!) has even swooped in and eaten one of your “regulars”.
This last playthrough some of the strangest things have been happening. I stasis'ed a guardian and it immediately fell through the earth. Then, I was fighting a hinox on eventide island. I got him stuck in the mountain side. He couldn't attack back, nor could he move. Pretty sure I saw an attack animation I've never seen before. I was molly wopping a bokoblin without targeting him. I ended up behind him and, while spamming the attack button, link seemed to do a sneak strike. It was quick but looked exactly like it. I don't recall seeing the action button appear either.
number 29 is simple.... when usin a multi-shot bow it kind of make 3 arrows out of 1 by deviding it... cutting 1 arrow so you get smaller arrows that aren't usable anymore :)
When someone sells you a piece of clothing and you decide to sell it… “Oh I nEvEr tHoUgHt I wOuLd LaY mY hAnDs oN tHeSe,” while the same exact clothes are right in front of them
I've been hit a bunch of times with my only metal being the Hylian armor. Also, on multishot bows, try shooting crates. You can farm arrows that way by literally turning one arrow into two to five.
In real life, some bird predators straight up eat other birds. I dont see why everyone is shocked when the bird lady wants to eat poultry, i feel like that just implies that the Rito are predators
For the mushrooms thing. It is because you had a sunshroom in death mountain which means everything catches fire. And if you didn't know sunshrooms and pepper when lit create an updraft Edit: You can finish the tarrey town quest and not talk to bolson. If you do that they won't come to ue house

On a similar note to the merchant one, how about the snowball bowling guy? You can just farm infinite money off this guy and no matter how many strikes you get he just keeps giving you 300 rupees. You'd think he'd be less impressed after the 100th time.
Here's one, some shrines, to activate some shrines you need to do some arbitrary action like getting an orb, and those shrines only react to that orb, you can't interchange them
@@mr.witherhmc9304 they look like they are covered in LED lights, they are probably emitting a unique signal or code that we can't see because its on the inside

i think it'd be best to research this, (instead of just a quick google search like i did) but, to my knowledge, there are a handful of birds that do eat other birds, usually baby birds or dead ones for things like vultures. however im not a bird expert and just wanted to look into it
If you go to the entrance of the lost woods, there is a torch you can shoot with your multi shot bow that allows you to pick them all up. You can do this to get 999 arrows though you do sacrifice your bows in the process. Alternatively a slightly more annoying unlimited arrows point. After you complete eventide Island. There is a small Island off of it behind the shrine that has a chest with 10 arrows. Open it, teleport back to the shrine, go to the Island, the chest respawns for unlimited arrows. You just have to deal with loading screens
Re: The Koroks, they appear to be some sort of spirit children rather than physical beings because if you try to take a picture of them with a camera, they don't show up in the photo.
@@pumaunicorn Or at least one of only a tiny minority of people in Hyrule who can see them. There's a travelling merchant called Agus in BOTW who talks about a time he saw a "weird tree ghost", who was probably actually describing a sighting of Hestu when he was in his original location.
9:12 The way he zooms from the waterfall's mouth and glides upward before flying into the air is just full of the exaggerated swagger of a Zora prince.
Another legendary video, I haven’t seen you in a while so I just want to check in and see how your doing, my birthday was yesterday so it’s really crazy but it’s great to see you back!!! Much love to you ❤️❤️
The "dead" King of Hyrule's ghost can apparently get cold (warm doublet), get itchy (warm doublet), as well as swing an axe and cut down trees. He can cook, he has to crouch down and be sneaky to hunt, and he can write a diary. To be fair, if you swing a weapon at him it'll go through. But that happens with every other npc in the game. Does that mean they're all ghosts who have physical but not physical bodies? haha
My theory for multi shot bows is they split the arrow apart instead of shooting multiple arrows. This is why you can’t retrieve the arrows from multishot after.
Pro tip: in the oasis there is a cooking pot. If you light your arrow on the cooking pot fire and shoot a multi shot bow at the wooden part of the cooking pot you can retrieve all 3(or 5) arrows. Easy cheap way for infinite arrows. Just costs durability on a bow.
I have one. When you hold the WEAKEST WEAPON IN THE GAME (tree branch), you lose it in, like, three hits, but when your ENEMY (such as random bokoblin passerby) holds it, it has INFINITE POWER. I have attacked this bokoblin for an ACTUAL HOUR. THE TREE BRANCH IS PERFECTLY INTACT. >:(
how can Link jump off of Mt. Ploymus, one of the tallest mountains in the game, and still dive straight into the water below without bodily harm? Plus, how can Link go up onto Hebra mountain and be okay if he puts feathers onto his legs and head!? I am baffled. :) Edit: How do koroks know Link has used stasis on one specific apple on a tree? They aren't there, because if they were, they would give off leaf particles. Same with those weird balloons that fly around, get thrown, or sit on the ground somewhere. Plus, why are the koroks Link finds in Korok Forest scared of him, while the ones around the map are fine? And one more: How can Link eat an apple core, or the bone in gourmet meat, raw meat, and HOW can he eat rocks if they're thrown into a pot before?
I'm going to say thank God for the merchants having unlimited money; I HATED having to play musical chairs and the waiting game with Skyrim shopkeeps to make money. 😊
Ritos are bird like, not necessarily birds, and anyway, there are birds that eat other birds, Eagles, Hawks, Owls and Seagulls will eat smaller birds like sparrows, ducklings, chicks starlings and so on. So,a Rito choosing Poultry wouldn't be unusual and does actually make sense.
7: I don't know, but it sure makes sourcing wood for the various parts of "From the Ground Up" easier. 11: And what's weirder, the Guardian Shields say they do that as if it's some special property, but no, as you say, even improvised shields fend off lasers originally intended to attack Calamity Ganon. At worst, they break if you don't parry, and sustain not even so much as scorch marks if you do. 25: It's more frustrating when it's for a certain shrine quest, but yeah.
Why aren’t arrows retrievable by magnesis when the tip of the arrow is made from some type of metal. Also just tons of odd things about arrows in general like how does a bomb arrow fly the same as other arrows. When link mounts a lynel why not just stay on and continue beating him instead of doing a sick backflip just to get trampled again.
The fact that Bolson goes back to squatting outside my house is why I don't talk to him after the Wedding portion of the Tarrey Town quest. Don't talk to him and he just stays in Tarrey Town! Also for the Shield Bash deflection bit, IT'S LINK! Man's a reincarnation superhuman, but you take issue with superhuman feats? Also the Cryonis Ice isn't real Ice, it's a construct made of the Blue energy of the Shrines and other Shiekah tech. Regular fire won't affect the Cryonis block, but the BLUE fire from the Ancient furnaces will break them.
multishot bows split the arrow into multiple parts, that is why you can't retrieve them afterwards, they are in splinters (unless you do the fire shot glitch) the dye shop probably applies an activator to certain parts of your clothes that bind to the pigment in the dye, everything else just doesn't hold onto it. the tip of the arrows light up cause Link applies grease to them for when you need to light them up before shooting
Part of Links magic is to shrink items down to a size fittable in pockets and to shrink weapons down to a useable size for him making his power of inventory
#23. Climbing Cryonis ice, 7:50 Ya got me thinkin', but the in-game logic is consistent on this one. Conjure a nice cube anywhere the game enables Link to do so. I know of no way to damage nor melt it. If you can get atop it and stay there, you can start a campfire on it. (I don't think you ever even have to worry about wind blowing your wood away. Windy conditions are beside the point, though.) Note that Link doesn't slip or slide atop the block, either. Sit by your nice, ice-top fire and select max wait time. Relight and repeat all you want. (Not that you'd want to.) Cryonis ice never melts!! Not even a tiny bit! Ergo it's nonslip ice. That's why it's not hard to climb and walk on. The one aspect I can't explain is how Link gets purchase on it at all, though we can ask that about any surface the game makes to look sheer yet be climbable. Seems like Link has got Spider-Man powers.
1:08 For the umpteenth time: It is only cannibalism if one eats the flesh of _the same species_ ! A Toad eating a Champignon wouldn't be cannibalism either. Or a human eating a monkey. (Though I really don't understand why you would want to, especially with confirmed cases of Monkey Pox in Europe recently making headlines...)
I think the whole different sized weapons is due to links inventory. In the Zelda cartoon series we see link shrinks the items to fit in his pouch. So maybe when he takes them out it adjusts to fit his size?
Also more koroks it is Gerudo Desert in Vah Naboris territory, under a rocks or stone circle and rolling stone area, and even a Hyrule Castle and speed missions and even a koroks forest where is about 8 quest (3 shrine quest, 3 normal quest, 1 main quest (Master Sword) and 900 Korok's smelling things and one big item (one of hardest items in game) and there is Riju flying outside in Gerudo City's Throne Room animation scene
the reason animals dissappear after following them for a bit in botw is to avoid what happened to skyrim if you arent aware a while back there was a rumor in skyrim that following foxes would lead you to treasure or points of interest, this was false and they would just run around randomly/away from the player, the reason the rumor came about is because if you go in just about any direction youll find treasure in skyrim, so following a fox in on direction is of course going to yield the same result
you know what is kinda weird, they went out their way to make it that you can't complete the first shrines without the rune if you cheese ur way to the skeleton, but a girl who is literally obessesd with guardians isn't programmed to have a special dialouge or animation when one is brought to her
Some other things that came to my mind: - In some side quests, you have to defeat some monsters to resolve some people's problems, but these monsters are restored when a Blood Moon occurs, so at last, nothing has been resolved. Well, as long I get my reward, I don't care anymore. - Moon phases, as they appear in the game, are not realistic. It's not possible to have a New Moon at night, or a partially lighted moon visible only during night time. In real life, a Full Moon is visible all night long, partial phases are visible a part during daylight and a part during night time, and New Moon occurs only during daylight but not visible. - The expression "Blood Moon" is a popular reference for a Total Moon Eclipse, which occurs when the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon, so the Moon is full but passing through Earth's umbra. The phenomenon is actually predictable in real life, but in BotW, it's somehow random, or at least I don't know what is triggering it. - [Xenoblade Chronicles] [WTF]
@@bilib1891 Yes, we can imagine for example the Moon having a geostationary orbit, which means the Moon is orbiting around the Earth at the same speed the Earth spins around its rotation axis. in that case, the Moon would be visible from only one half of the Earth and all phases would be seen every day. Roughly, you would have New Moon at noon, one half lighted at 6pm, full at midnight, the other half lighted at 6am and back to New Moon at noon. People living on the other half of Earth don't see the Moon at all. I can also imagine the Moon having a polar orbit, which would give completely different set up. However, there's still things that couldn't happen. As presented in BotW, it's like the Moon is orbiting around the Sun while following the Earth on the same plane and on a farther orbit, which explains why the Moon rises and set at the very same spots and at the very same hours every night, but therefore it should be full every night, and that is not a moon anymore but another planet. I'm not even sure if that kind of set up is physically possible without messing up each other's orbit. Moon phases in the game had been set for the game play and not to be realistic.
Climbing up a ladder doesn't use up any stamina. But climbing up the Sheika Towers, which have a surface pretty similar to ladders, it uses up stamina. Make it make sense.
ladders are ergonomic and designed for climing, the Sheika Towers are towers that were underground for however long, covered in rock and not made for climbing
Once at school my friend Liam said he was fighting a monster camp with only bokoblins that all had royal claymores and he claimed that when they jumped to attack him they just got struck by lightning

More than ever before, Link’s inventory is an unsolvable mystery. His outfits and armors alone would fill a closet from floor to ceiling, to say nothing of his weapons, bows, shields, food, materials, and other items. Where does he put it? 🤨
One fan theory about Link is that his Champion Ability is time slowing, explaining his Bullet Time and Flurry Rush abilities, meaning he might just slow down time to enjoy his food in peace!
this guy can hold hundreds of thousands of different foods, weapons, shields, and even a paraglider in this little pouch the size of his palm? in it some kind of magic bag
Something that doesn’t make sense for me is that electric/ thunder weapons don’t shock you if you use them, but then when there’s a thunder storm it attracts thunder and you get electrocuted. Also if you stand near your bomb you get injured, but if you use urbosa’s fury, or shock arrows, you are just fine
In response to number 8, I have a mini theory. Beedle is not one person, but multiple people. Like a massive empire of merchants. I'm sure other people have thought of this, not meaning to steal from anyone
1: you can cut random grass and get rice 2: he can run and that takes stamina and he can walk all day without sitting or sleeping and use no stamina or get tired 3: his weapons break after a amount of hits but enemies weapons are infinite
Cannibalism only counts if they are eating another Rito. Hawks in the wild will eat whatever they can get, including other fowl, such as chicken or smaller birds
Fun Fact! Aluminum, Steel, Bronze, and Cast Iron do not conduct electricity well, so it's possible that the Knights armor is made of one of those materials!
Living trees and leaves contain water, that’s why you use dried leaves and dried logs for fire, so no the koroks would not burn, at least until the dry out or die
Fun Fact! Sun Shrooms, Spicy Peppers, and other Cold Protection ingredients can create updrafts when you light them on fire from the excess heat they release when burned!
I don't know why the Rito wanting to eat poultry is so shocking. Birds of prey like hawks and eagles sometimes swoop down at smaller birds to catch and eat them. Most of the Rito we see in BotW have features remiscent of birds of prey.
To be fair, a Rito eating a bird is no more cannibal than a human eating a cow. Like yes, Ritos and herons are both birds (just as humans and cows are mammals) but they aren't the same species.
Link can be blown up by a bomb that spontaneously combusts and live to tell the tale, but he can't survive being blown up by a lynel stabbing the ground.

So just never speak to him again and you’re good. I haven’t spoken to him since 2019 and it’s been bliss!
The funniest thing about Beetle is that if you visit enough stables quickly enough, he will make a comment about you stalking him.
To answer your question about the Rito.
When it comes to birds eating other birds, hawks, falcons or owls are usually the birds that come to mind as typical predators. If you have a backyard feeder, chances are that a Hawk or two (or more!) has even swooped in and eaten one of your “regulars”.
1:08 It's technically not cannibalism. If you're going to question this then you might as well question why Zora fish when they're fish people.
Rito seem t based on falcons and falcons eat other birds, which is normal
Yes this is a real pet peeve of mine!
Also, humans eat other mammals. WE LITERALLY ARE MAMMALS. So according to this guy most humans in the world are cannibals.
Number 3 is not really weird. Have you ever seen falcons? That Rito looks like a bird of prey, which eat meat, including smaller birds
Pelicans
Not mentioning how zora eat fish
What I was thinking too

The rito eating poultry makes sense they seem to be a type of evolved predatory bird which would mean they sometimes eat other birds
I've been hit a bunch of times with my only metal being the Hylian armor. Also, on multishot bows, try shooting crates. You can farm arrows that way by literally turning one arrow into two to five.
The arrow dupe is only if you are at some certain campfires
@@bedeoof5948 which campfires?
In real life, some bird predators straight up eat other birds. I dont see why everyone is shocked when the bird lady wants to eat poultry, i feel like that just implies that the Rito are predators
Beedle has the ‘nurse joy’ syndrome where he has tons of identical twins
8:31 “I didn’t know foxes can do magic tricks in the Zelda universe.” Ummm… did you forget about Keaton? 😂

For the mushrooms thing. It is because you had a sunshroom in death mountain which means everything catches fire. And if you didn't know sunshrooms and pepper when lit create an updraft
Edit: You can finish the tarrey town quest and not talk to bolson. If you do that they won't come to ue house

On a similar note to the merchant one, how about the snowball bowling guy? You can just farm infinite money off this guy and no matter how many strikes you get he just keeps giving you 300 rupees. You'd think he'd be less impressed after the 100th time.
He's easily amused.
Here's one, some shrines, to activate some shrines you need to do some arbitrary action like getting an orb, and those shrines only react to that orb, you can't interchange them

i think it'd be best to research this, (instead of just a quick google search like i did) but, to my knowledge, there are a handful of birds that do eat other birds, usually baby birds or dead ones for things like vultures. however im not a bird expert and just wanted to look into it
Links metal armor during a thunder lighting storm it doesn’t get lightning struck on it because its a different type of metal

Thanks Nick!
You just have to deal with loading screens
thanks
For number 3, the same can be said for the zora people. They eat fish, yet they are fish themselves
So are sharks, and they eat fish.
Cannibals
Re: The Koroks, they appear to be some sort of spirit children rather than physical beings because if you try to take a picture of them with a camera, they don't show up in the photo.
Makes sense. After all, Link is the only human who can see them in the entire game.
@@pumaunicorn Or at least one of only a tiny minority of people in Hyrule who can see them. There's a travelling merchant called Agus in BOTW who talks about a time he saw a "weird tree ghost", who was probably actually describing a sighting of Hestu when he was in his original location.
......Are you sure? I've taken lots of photos of Koroks and they definitely show up every time.

Also, with the koroks catching fire, Sidon said that potions only worked on hylians.
Including this in the next video! Thanks!
The rito eating chicken is about as weird as us eating cows since we’re both mammals 😎
Link can can fall really far without taking damage, and even wham his toe on a metal box painlessly. But a log rolling into slowly hurts.
when they can retrieve your horse from anywhere but if you're 1 foot too far your horse can't hear your whistle lol
how can Link jump off of Mt.
You missed that wearing a fully upgraded flameproof aromor doesn't protect you from lava
Even wearing a scuba tank, you can drown.
Also lava is much more intense heat that just heat, the tech simply isn't good enough yet
If Link Cook Something he gets a meal. with a Plate? From where did he Got the Plate?
7: I don't know, but it sure makes sourcing wood for the various parts of "From the Ground Up" easier.
11: And what's weirder, the Guardian Shields say they do that as if it's some special property, but no, as you say, even improvised shields fend off lasers originally intended to attack Calamity Ganon. At worst, they break if you don't parry, and sustain not even so much as scorch marks if you do.
25: It's more frustrating when it's for a certain shrine quest, but yeah.
1:56 The Climing set cannot be bought, sorry. It's found in three different shrines in the Dueling Peaks and Hateno regions.
To be fair about the lynels, they are large monsters, it takes a lot of stamina to stay on them
The fact that Bolson goes back to squatting outside my house is why I don't talk to him after the Wedding portion of the Tarrey Town quest.
#23. Climbing Cryonis ice, 7:50
Ya got me thinkin', but the in-game logic is consistent on this one.
(Not that you'd want to.)
Cryonis ice never melts!!
Or Zora eating fish.
(Eating monkey also lead to aids)
@@NintendoSunnyDee This is an incredibly stupid statement.

Wait what the hell where'd the link I posted go?
I think the whole different sized weapons is due to links inventory. In the Zelda cartoon series we see link shrinks the items to fit in his pouch. So maybe when he takes them out it adjusts to fit his size?
Professional speed eating would actually be a fun mini-game. They should put that in the squeal.
Also more koroks it is Gerudo Desert in Vah Naboris territory, under a rocks or stone circle and rolling stone area, and even a Hyrule Castle and speed missions and even a koroks forest where is about 8 quest (3 shrine quest, 3 normal quest, 1 main quest (Master Sword) and 900 Korok's smelling things and one big item (one of hardest items in game) and there is Riju flying outside in Gerudo City's Throne Room animation scene
the reason animals dissappear after following them for a bit in botw is to avoid what happened to skyrim
if you arent aware a while back there was a rumor in skyrim that following foxes would lead you to treasure or points of interest, this was false and they would just run around randomly/away from the player, the reason the rumor came about is because if you go in just about any direction youll find treasure in skyrim, so following a fox in on direction is of course going to yield the same result
How in the volcano Koroks Carry leafs to fly but if you carry a korok leaf it burns
you know what is kinda weird, they went out their way to make it that you can't complete the first shrines without the rune if you cheese ur way to the skeleton, but a girl who is literally obessesd with guardians isn't programmed to have a special dialouge or animation when one is brought to her
Some other things that came to my mind:
- In some side quests, you have to defeat some monsters to resolve some people's problems, but these monsters are restored when a Blood Moon occurs, so at last, nothing has been resolved.
- [Xenoblade Chronicles]
[WTF]
When you say "real life" you actually meant: "planet earth" and not "the whole universe".
@@bilib1891
I mean "planet Earth", but the same physics applies to the whole universe.
@@DaringDramis I don't see how the moon phases can't be different on different planets as the relative position and angle and orbit may differ.
@@bilib1891
Yes, we can imagine for example the Moon having a geostationary orbit, which means the Moon is orbiting around the Earth at the same speed the Earth spins around its rotation axis. in that case, the Moon would be visible from only one half of the Earth and all phases would be seen every day.
3:12 I just decided to settle with they are ancient spirits instead of trying to figure out how they aren't burnt to a crisp yet.
To all of these I just fling on the lampshade of "The Goddess makes it happen because Link's her special little guy."
The metal arrow tips catching fire and wooden shaft being fire proof is the best.
I'm about 90%sure that rito eating chicken would be similar to a person eating a cow. They're birds, that's literally the only thing they have in common. It's not cannibalism.
mushroom thing was bc you put down a sunshroom, which, when burnt, create a small (and useful!) updraft
That makes a lot of sense even if you consider the other games.
I think we all want to see a TotK version of the series
this guy can hold hundreds of thousands of different foods, weapons, shields, and even a paraglider in this little pouch the size of his palm? in it some kind of magic bag
1: you can cut random grass and get rice
2: he can run and that takes stamina and he can walk all day without sitting or sleeping and use no stamina or get tired
3: his weapons break after a amount of hits but enemies weapons are infinite
Cannibalism only counts if they are eating another Rito. Hawks in the wild will eat whatever they can get, including other fowl, such as chicken or smaller birds
Nice video again!
Thanks Deku!

For now, let's just say it's ✨Hylia's magic✨
Getting close to the sonic ranking videos for your 25k subscribers I’ve been waiting for

To be fair, a Rito eating a bird is no more cannibal than a human eating a cow. Like yes, Ritos and herons are both birds (just as humans and cows are mammals) but they aren't the same species.
Beedle is too nice here. Toon Link gets kicked out of his ship, literally, for not buying something
Link can be blown up by a bomb that spontaneously combusts and live to tell the tale, but he can't survive being blown up by a lynel stabbing the ground.
He can survive that as well.
For number 29, the arrow splits. That's why you can't collect it (it's broken and in several pieces), and why it only uses one.
