- This is my review for Brawl Stars in 2023. Coming from the eyes of a new player, I am to give a fresh perspective on the state of the game.

4:36 As a player from mid 2019, I have to say that when you were F2P back then, it would take months to upgrade a brawler to Power 9 and get or buy its Star Power.
I started playing in April 2021, during brawl pass season 6, and that's when I got addicted to this game so much that I didn't miss a single day of playing it since then. Today I have more trophies than OJ, but overall I think Brawl Stars is a very fun and succesfull game, I think the best I've played so far (I played a LOT of games btw)
I also started at season 6 but when season 7 started i got buzz without even have brawlpass (boxes)
I started 7 season and have 40k
I started in 2018-2019
i started in 2020 with mr p update
I started two months after the game went to global (in carl update)
The worst part are players bm'ing but they said they didnt forget about the 👎 pin so good for us. Also club coin skins wont be avaible from the next update apparently.
Unfortunately you’ll find toxic players anywhere you go

Please make a mini game video (like bot runner, bibi bowling, etc.) it would be super fun and engaging cuz u could play matches with ur community. Anyways, keep up the fantastic videos :D

Great video and great perspective! I agree that the rewards you get now makes it more difficult to unlock new characters. Brawl passes are almost not worth it 😢

My only complaint is that why they removed brawl box
It doesn't seems much rewarding now
But still fun to play might gets frustrated coz playing with randoms in this game always sucks they play really bad
So make sure the have a friend to play with you
I think the star drops are decently fun
cool vid. it would be cool if you mentioned that every other brawlpass can be bought by f2p players as every season we get 90 gems and bp's price is 169 gems instead of real life money.
So I'm gonna say it's quite fun and I recommend it also it's pretty f2p compared to other mobile games and there so much free content plus the devs actually care the only bad things I can think of is the toxic players almost no coins and that's all so if you haven't played it then you should also airoc can i maybe play with you a bit?

As a player from 2018, I dont really know how the wxperience for new players are, I always played casually but if there is one thing that I loved about removing boxes are legendaries. You see today I got all brawlers level 10, and I never put money on this game, but one thins always pissed me off, the legendaries, my first one was spike, were super hyped but, I remeber that the last brawlers I needed to have were all legendaries, also in the last day of the, in the time current pass, I got lola as a legendary chance wich broke my meter percentage and fucked me up. I can assure its easy to get brawlers now, I do fell we lack of gold, even with the pass, its always like Im low on gold but either way I always loved playing and always will, recomend a lot

It's great to see a video from a new player. I've just picked the game up myself this week. I'm really enjoying it but moat content se3ms to be aimed at veteran players. So I struggle to find relevant content for me.

To add on to your “how many brawlers there are in 2018” Some brawlers weren’t in the rare,superrare,epic rarity as they were previously trophy road brawlers before they were moved to different rarities

I played it a lot in 2019 and 2021 but now i only play it sometimes
I've been playing consistantly since 2017, and can confidently say that the game (for me) is more enjoyable than ever!
The brawlers just keep getting more and more intricate and interesting, and that's what keeps the gameplay fun and exciting. Going into a Power League match and seeing all the intricacies of the picks and bans and then the actual gameplay itself is just wonderful!

I been playing brawl stars since 2018, and my honest opinion, the game is not dead for most old, but for new players it is more likely that they quit faster as the gameplay itself is kinda not hooking compared to other games l guess.
Im def hoping it makes a comeback, hopefully they are able to provide new content and updates that attract more new players while keeping the old ones happy
Here to share some perspective; ive been playing since around gene release (a bit after global), i am 100% free to play and currently sitting with 67 brawlers unlocked (only missing 3 chromatics) and i have ALL of them on power 9 with atleast one star power AND gadget, i have been playing on and off alot so i most definitely havent utilized all of the free rewards (ive only bought three brawlpasses even though it couldve been closer to 9) these days i play for fun with my friend, i dont push hard or even play power league and club league (which you usually need max power brawlers for) but i still think i could easily get several power 11 brawlers if i needed to! The game is currently in a state of change but i can assure you that the whole dev team listens to the community and has a future planned for the game. If anyone stumbles upon this comment feel free to question me about the game. TLDR: I reccommend this game even for casual and f2p players

You said you're 100% free to play. Then you say you've bought three battle passes.
@@louisquartersson4555 the battle passes were purchasable with gems up to about 2 months ago, gems being a premium currency which you could and you still can get by playing regularly and claiming the free side of the pass, it used to take a bit less than 2 completed seasons (180 gems total and you need 169 for the pass) so yeah i havent spent anything on the game
@@louisquartersson4555 And if you were wondering about my progress Ken, right now i have all brawlers unlocked with 10 of them completely maxed and about 10 more being power 10 which is playable even in lobbies where everyone is maxed

After playing since beta 2018, I still love this game. Its gone through its ups and downs, but overall what makes this game great is two things; 1. Updates, these make the game feel fresh and fun throughout the game. 2. The Dev. Team, the always give us updates that are for the best, and they listen to the players, and are jot money hogs *cough*clash royale*cough*.
I keep hearing nightmare stories about Clash Royal…I just reset my account and need to poke my head in there and see what’s going on…
