Tyler had been in the industry since approx. '92 but he was financing his own stage plays while being homeless.
Mo'Nique has been in Hollywood since '95 and her show The Parkers aired in '99. Mo'Nique has long been the voice for the inequalities in Hollywood and now we're starting to hear the other black voices who are saying there are major disparities in pay.
It's amazing how these people will have you lead a movie/show but won't pay you and then get blackballed to silence your voice.

The thing that bothers me about his latest movie is how the one husband was depicted. It was the scene when he was screaming at his wife's mother in the store.
