By far the bet show I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen MTJ 3-4 times now; I’ve also seen roger waters, Fleetwood Mac, Santana, etc. These guys + Jackie are the be-all end-all
Just came across this band and I can’t stop listening. They’re playing a festival in nj with foo fighters I wanted to go to but now screw the foo fighters I’m going to their show in Philly.
During the Covid lock down Mt Joy had to play an outdoor show rather than their planned venue. That outdoor show was at the Smoky Mountain Events Center just behind my house. My wife and I had no idea the show was planned but were able to sit on our back porch and enjoy a brilliant show for free. Got turned on to them and bought the tickets to see them the 2nd time. Just a great band.
Just saw them last week and man what a concert to come back from COVID shutdowns to. These guys are absolutely incredible and even though I expected it they really delivered live. That pianist is ridiculously talented and they all have such perfect energy and stage presence. Gonna be seeing them live any chance I get.

37:48 sounds like the song from their instagram post on December 9. Definitely a new song, possibly with more classical string instruments on the album version.
I LOVE discovering new bands ..who are way cool ..Bruce Springsteen did a thing with Bleachers ❤ so listened to them .. and then found Mt. Joy .. oh and noe Caamp.... best music xx
I've always thought that Astrovan had some deeper meaning behind it. I can sleep well knowing that its legit just a song about jesus driving an astrovan. I love it.
Excellent voices, music , tightness. Amazing band. From lyrics to musical compositions to delivery. And Matt's voice is so strong! ❤❤❤
