There’s something really genuine about Max he seemed such a lovely guy already shipping you two… I could never do what you did I get so uncomfortable with people I don’t know and I don’t handle big crowds etc I’m such a wee townie I can’t handle cities such a good video. Love this….

I love going to a city where I don’t know anyone and hanging out with strangers :) I find it really easy to make friends bc most ppl are kind!! U might get some rejection but then u find really special ppl too so it’s worth it ☺️
I feel like we are on a similar healing journey and I am also at this very awkward phase of letting go of old friends and trying to meet new people. It has been a struggle but videos like these and the right attitude really help knowing that all that is needed is to make that first step towards it. Rejection hits hard for us adhd-ers out there but there is ways to come around it and ground that emotion in the fact it is a normal part of life. Someone else's no is like the no you say to someone else if you have built healthy boundaries, so why would it have to feel bad when and if rejected. So yeah. Thank you for sharing. I do hope you stay in contact and develop friendships.

I signed up for several groups on the Meetup app. This reminds me of the first event I attended. It was game night at someone's house. We were all strangers playing board games together and sharing snacks. Two years later and I still attend every chance I get and have made friends for other activities. As an introvert it was hard to get out of my comfort zone but after the end of a decades long marriage I needed to meet new people and make new memories.
I loved how you introduced, involved them in cooking, the gift notes and final dessert to make everyone feel comfortable. Really loved your efforts and thoughts in this christmas party. Expecting this type of content from you every now and then❣❣❣

I love this. This is such a big issue here, like everyone just seems so focused on themselves. Like people are nice and everything but it feels like after covid somehow everyone became very introverted which is really sad.
From what I’ve found in London the best way to meet people is to do something that you love like for example I do a music course at college and that’s how I’ve made my friends since moving here
You should do a follow up video on the relationships you have with these new friends after a year. This could show if you can actually make real friends, or just people you meet once.
