Yes! I got it right! A few years back I took this herb because I was having trouble staying awake throughout the day. Not only did it help me wake up and feel energetic throughout the day, it actually helped me sleep better.

Rhodiola?? When I was in high school and was a gymnast I had a very hippy coach. My Mom said never take anything she talked about unless I got permission from her and my dad.
@triciapogue6637 Pretty good guess! Rhodiola is also a renowned adaptogen, and it has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for centuries. In TCM, rhodiola is known as "Hong Jing Tian". Yes! I got it right 😁😁😁 Russia and northern Asia made me think Siberia, but that just confirmed my guess. What gave it away was the clue that it is a gentle stimulant that older and little people can take. I quickly went though the ginsengs in my mind and remembered that Siberian was the gentle one.
Boy, I live in WI where alot of ginseng is grown and the amount of spray commercial ginseng gets on it during it's three years before harvest would stop me from using any gensing product. I would have to find organic woods grown, commercial gensing probably as harmful as any good you would recieve! believe me I worked on shang farm for ten years, lots of herbicides,pestisides and fungisides!

Hi Kristy. I love history too. :) Siberian Ginseng effects everyone a little differently. It's a good idea to start with a lower dose (1/4 teaspoon of tincture) and gradually increase it (up to a teaspoon of tincture) to assess your body's response and tolerance. I had no clue. Ginseng is not on my radar. If I can't grow it successfully I dont really study it. We have American ginseng around but it is illegal to harvest here. Unfortunately, people pay big money for it here and an illegal harvest wipes out entire patches of it. I really need some help to save my pet rat. I sent a message on the FB page. She cant breathe. Ive spent 500$ plus on vet visits, 3 diffent kinds of antibiotics and albuteral. Its been months and nothing is helping. Her breathing is gurgly in her lungs and nose. Like a constant snoring sound. Shes lost weight, and is now taking deep gasps every few breaths. Hi I have a question , i've more recently started to learn about herbs, and I'm certainly interested in your class. One question I have is about the potency of some of the nutrients in the herbs. The reason I am asking is I have noticed often herbalist will compare a plant to something like an orange and tell you how much more vitamin C is in a certain plant compared to an orange. My question is, is that gram for gram Because I'm Thinking i could easy eat 2 oranges a day in a week The weight would never compare to the amount of red raspberry I have in tea Or how much parsley i could eat. Good guess Amy! Traditional Chinese medicine uses two types of ginseng: Panax Ginseng and Siberian Ginseng. Panax has a very hot yang energy, while Siberian is cooling and yin. I am using this herb, jingsing and many other herbs and it’s a miracle, I will never go back

I really need some help to save my pet rat. I sent a message on the FB page. She cant breathe. Ive spent 500$ plus on vet visits, 3 diffent kinds of antibiotics and albuteral. Its been months and nothing is helping. Her breathing is gurgly in her lungs and nose. Like a constant snoring sound. Shes lost weight, and is now taking deep gasps every few breaths. Please, if you have any advice, id be forever appreciative. Shes my baby, and i dont want to give up on her.

Hi I have a question , i've more recently started to learn about herbs, and I'm certainly interested in your class. One question I have is about the potency of some of the nutrients in the herbs. The reason I am asking is I have noticed often herbalist will compare a plant to something like an orange and tell you how much more vitamin C is in a certain plant compared to an orange. My question is, is that gram for gram

Good guess Amy! Traditional Chinese medicine uses two types of ginseng: Panax Ginseng and Siberian Ginseng. Panax has a very hot yang energy, while Siberian is cooling and yin. @@JenniRoseHGH Yes, but it really was a guess since I am still working on getting my herbs and their benefits arranged in my mind. I am heavily into learning the benefits of individual herbs but I’m 68 years old and I find that I forget about as much as I remember. 😳😳
