Tried both ways and the best solution was the mix of the two. First cool it with ice cube for 5 minutes, that use the nail polish and scrub it off. (without the toothpick)

Hand sanitizer works to all you need is hand sanitizer in the cotton ball and just start scrubbing. You don’t even need a toothpick. If it’s like not dry don’t use a toothpick just use hand sanitizer, and a cotton ball and just keep scrubbing

It is probably because the gum was wet just use use hand sanitizer if you don’t have nail polish remover and just use the cotton ball to keep scrubbing. You might need to soak in the Hanson Tyser I suggest you use the spray kind it works 😊
