I saw a video doing a side teaching of Passion Java and a true preacher from Africa. The African preacher was talking about false teachers like Passion. He said the title "Man of God" has replaced the title "witch doctor ".

This concept of the spirit of "almost" is very popular with African preachers. If you've heard it once, you've heard it a million times, I think the proponents absorb it from one another or others. It's meant to refer to those believers who are always "almost" at their breakthrough but they don't make it because things fall through on the brink of their promise being fulfilled. To the point where this seems like their destiny because it's a repeating pattern in their lives. Almost got married, almost had children, almost got promoted, almost got the raise, almost got the big-money deal/contract etc... And this resonates with many believers who feel as if their life has an element of it, or they feel they know someone who does. And it's persuasive because they can also point to scripture - references to the spirit of Pisgah, the idea that Moses was allowed to see the promised land but wasn't allowed to enter. That is taken as an example of the "almost" phenomenon.
Pisgah is the name of a mountain, and nothing more. These people read into everything. Instead of looking at what happened and why Moses wasn't allowed in, they make up stories to fleece the sheep.
No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

The first clip seems to be a replacement for a nightclub experience - music, entertainment, group participation. The tithing clip is quite disturbing. Believers were told they would have tribulation, as well as troubles every day. It's called "life in a fallen world." Sometimes there are consequences to sin. Sometimes we're being tested. Read the Bible, and do what it says, and this life will go a lot better.
Why is it always about money? Why?
This makes me very sad, seeing all these people believing this is God Almighty talking to them!
I can’t remember how I came across him on Facebook but I was shocked. His page is mainly of him flexing and a few scripture here and there.
What I've started to become more and more curious about is where this guy came from? His ties and rise to fame in Zimbabwe are pretty well documented, but I can't find sources on who thought it was a good idea to import his act into the US. Anyone know?
Maybe it was more organic than that. Like, he migrated to the States and things fortuitously evolved from there. He spotted an opportunity (read "gap in the market") and seized it.
What I found online is more like he ran away to the US because there was an effort to get him extradited back to Zimbabwe for his criminal activity there.
Life in Zimbabwe sux... and a lot of people are poor unfortunately...
How do you pull $1000 in a church service from people who make $150/month? For example...
Plus he is known in Zimbabwe to be a fake Prophet as he was seen in Night Clubs/drinking etc etc...
When will this mess be put to an end . I pray soon or when the Lord Jesus Christ comes back he will set everything in order let the wheat and the tare grow together and he will set it in order when HE RETURNS. This is so sad that people will do anything to get rich and hell will be there permanent home indeed he has already received his reward

It's fascinating to see how much the male members in the clip towards the end are emulating Java in their grooming and their attire. (a) once you start mirroring your "spiritual father/mother" in the way you dress or style yourself, it's a very slippery slope to taking on or accepting more questionable conduct/practices, and (b) it's a very short step from there to engaging in the kind of sycophancy that the two male congregants in black are displaying.
Look at his clothes. Listen to the music. This is nothing but a show to entertain fools.

And if the person has to appropriately receive the prophecy for it to come to pass, then how can anyone even trust in the supposed word of God? A prophecy of God should always come to pass.
