When I was trying to find the lyrics to this song I saw a few posts saying that the indecipherable vocals at the start were actually the sample at the end (You don't need to hide my friend, for I am just like you) played backwards. So i put this to test and thought that i'd let you all make your own judgement :)

It just occurred to me that this whole song is about the "nice sprites" trying to calm down and talk to the "scary monsters". At first the sprites are scared of the monsters and so they talk to the monsters and at the end the sprites are successful at talking to the monsters and say "I'm a coward too, you don't need to hide my friend, for I am just like you." ❤️❤️❤️ very neat

It is his song. just backwards. He purposely made it so that the first part of the song's vocals were the ending vocals backwards. playing it backwards would reveal this aswell as make the song sound better ;D
