I look forward to your daily videos. I appreciate all you do Cliff. Thank you so much! May you always be safe in your travels and hikes. God Bless 🙏🙏🌺🙏🙏
I LOVE scrapple, I like the fact that you like syrup on it, I do as well and my son makes fun of me for it! My mouth was watering watching this video, I may even look into getting a bottle of sassafras syrup instead of my typical maple syrup.
Here in Maryland scrapple is in all the grocery stores but not everyone likes it. I love it, crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. You make me want to go camping again. I haven’t camped in many years. You make it look fun.
My dad was from PA and we enjoyed eating scrapple! We lived in Fla where it was not available. But he would receive it from family in PA. Thanks for sharing, Cliff! BobL
I like to tent real close to my vehicle. Loved the A.T. thru PA (1999 & 2000). Real nice folk and still only drink Yuengling beer today. Love that tingling.
Love scrapple .... always have! I do have some in the freezer that was made homemade (not by me) that I will be eating soon. When I was stationed in the UK, the Commissary stocked scrapple because there were a lot of Pennsylvanians stationed there that were asking for it. I was pleasantly surprised to see it😊👍🏻
Always enjoy your camping videos! You're lucky your 'reaction' to all that scrapple wasn't worse.....if ya know what I mean! 🤭😉 We always put molasses on scrapple when I was a kid. Crispy on the outside is the way to go! London Fog is Earl Grey tea plus lavender buds and cream, whipped up. It is delicious!!!!!! The Tomato Pie Café in Lititz serves an awesome London Fog.
Great video Cliff! I love all the camping videos. Especially this time of year. You are going to love Presque Isle. That is one of my favorite places in PA. We need to head back there again soon too and do some of the trails. Happy camping. Fall is almost here!
Yes you have been a blessing to me through your words and videos. Why didn't you cover all the counties in that area, seeing how you are already there? I like the lights strung up around the campsite.
My Grandma, from Norristown, always had scrapple with Karo. You may have it all (the scrapple), it's not anything I like. Glad you enjoyed being over here in my neck of the woods. I live in western PA (northern Beaver County). Very familiar with Moraine, McConnell's Mills, Pymatuning as well as Raccoon State Parks.
I lived most of my adult life in NC and had a good friend from Statesville (would be in her mid 40's now) who adored liver mush. :-) I'm a Pennsylvania-raised pescatarian myself, though, and thus have never tried either liver mush or scrapple. My life-long Pennsylvanian mom, however, grew up loving scrapple with maple syrup.
Nice one Cliff! I remember a while back you mentioned a video showcasing your camera equipment, is that still something you may do? I’m almost positive I didn’t miss it as I watch all your videos. Take care and I look forward to your next one! Joe, SE Pa
Cliff, I am curious as to where you got the sassafras syrup from. Sounds like it would taste pretty good. As I am writing this, I am sitting at my fire pit in my backyard underneath a huge sassafras tree.
I never had scrapple, can't find it in any stores around me. I tend to think it's something like spam, enjoyed the video. waiting to see how the jiffy pop comes out next time
Scrapple is what it sounds like, scaps left from hogs, yucky not a fan, but my boyfriend from berkley springs loves it! I live in southern part of wv, we dont have scrapple here...gotta go north to find it.. I'll stay south, so no thanks..
Great video. Thanks. Would you please share a link to where a person could buy the Sassafras Syrup??? I have never heard of it, and would love to try it. I looked on Amazon, Etsy, but nothing that looked like your bottle and only one bottle of syrup at all, and it was mixed with many other flavors it seems. Thanks for the video.
@twentle100, it's made from the scraps of what's left over after the processing of a pig. All of your normal cuts of meat are removed and the leftovers are cooked along with various spices and usually some cornmeal as a binder. It's best cooked in a frying pan until it's crispy on both sides. I like mine with some scrambled eggs, home fries and toast.
Does scrapple basically taste like sausage? I live in central PA so I've seen it at the Amish market by my house, never been hearty enough to try it. Ha
I saw someone that was rescued from falling off the cliff by the waterfall. Becarful next time you visit on rainy days. It's not called slippery rock creek for nothing.
I can't walk without huge pain, so I do enjoy walking with you .
I grew up in Montgomery County and Scapple was a common staple. I liked it with Maple Syrup. It was usually a "side" for pancakes or waffles,
Great video keep up the great work

I've never eaten scrapple, but i have used soup on rice and beans like a gravy.

😁scrapple produces gas and aromas, so does my favorite braunschweiger w onions, mustard & limburger cheese. . .keep it comin, Cliff.
This was a awesome video
Scrapple! I grew up on Habbersett Scrapple back in PA. Sadly, I can't find scrapple out here in the Midwest. Great video!
That's the best brand.
@@slapppp815 agreed!
Beautiful
wow, its really adventurous and fun to do camping.
I had scrapple when I was in NJ (Coast Guard). I'm from NC and grew up on livermush.
Now THAT'S gross!

Awesome!!!
Finding Scrapple is like finding a Hamloaf at the store lol
scrapple and horseradish that's the best
I love scrapple! Enjoy your trips. I didn't get into hiking/camping when I grew up in SE PA. Wife and I go to a lot of state parks now in Tenn.
Yeeeehaw thats some hillbilly grub 👍👍🤣
Luv Scrapple
I used to help my grandfather and my dad make scrapple once a month like 50 4 pound pansat a time. Burned me out
I think there's cornmeal in scrapple (which would be a NO for me, as I am allergic to corn)....but I think that's the mushy part.
I always liked scrapple when thin and crispy, like a chip.
If we didn't pass gas we'd probably blow up!!😅
👀😳 scrapple? Where's the apple butter?😂😂😂
My uncle used to butcher his big hogs and he would give us a 10 lb pan for us . We would eat it raw sometimes
You need to try Gliers Goetta from Cincinnati, very close to what you had
Did you ever play Scrabble while eating scrapple? 😂. Looks good!
I like scrapple but i like to eat it plain. Last time I ate a block of scrapple in one sitting i couldn't stop 💩 the next day.
Nice one Cliff! I remember a while back you mentioned a video showcasing your camera equipment, is that still something you may do? I’m almost positive I didn’t miss it as I watch all your videos. Take care and I look forward to your next one! Joe, SE Pa
I didn't make that video yet.

A viewer sent him that syrup.
@@jayforkner2692 , I would love to find that stuff. I know I have not seen it in any grocery stores or even gourmet stores.

Scrapple is delicious, but not the stuff they sell in the grocery stores.
I use sassafras always in my gumbo....the French name is file"...it looks like you eating hoghead cheese the scrapple.
Great video. Thanks.

It was a gift.
@@thewanderingwoodsman7227 You are blessed. Can you please look in the bottle and see if there is a website to order from??? PLEASE???
Calling scrapple meat is a stretch, but i like mine sliced thin and fried hard. And only buckwheat scrapple, not cornmeal.
Have you ever had souse? It's good too. It's similar to scrapple but has rice in it. It's white in color.
nope
I like sassafras tea 😋 I like to try sassafras syrup, where do you find it?
It was a gift.
What is scrapple made of?

How did you power the string lights? I have ice cream cones string lights at my campsite that i have to plug into the trailer
It has a rechargable battery
Does scrapple basically taste like sausage? I live in central PA so I've seen it at the Amish market by my house, never been hearty enough to try it. Ha
It has its own unique taste.
We're your camping look little bit ruged
Where can I find your address to send you treats?
It's on my about me page or in the description below each video.
So what is that stuff you eating it don't look too appetizing too me
You saw the falls.
A fun trip but a business trip? Very interesting statement. Where do you go for vacation? 40:57
I don’t have a channel, but I camp and I’d like to have a gift box. I guess I better get busy making a channel.
