YES! Make eating, drinking and snacking a priority if breastfeeding. For your health and for the babies. Its extremely important sont stress about the least important things.

INSULIN packs on the pounds. My son was losing weight, and my Dr. was telling me to use formula. I took him home and fed him breast milk every hour. Frequent feedings (even tiny ones) keeps insulin high and makes you gain weight.
I put 14 oz. on my 3 day old son in only 2 days on breast milk alone. Supply was coming in a bit slowly, but got there! You can DO it! Breast milk or formula, frequent feedings is the way to do it!

What Dr Paul says about rest is so important when our Daughter arrived she was 2 weeks prem and was in special care for 2 weeks feeding via IV when her actual birthdate arrived she came right now my wife had post natal depression and I didnt know what to do to help so I took it upon myself to do the entire nightshift by myself and its was hard but coming from an Army background it was much easier to cope with then I would have my lunch hour at home doing the housework and it all helped with my wife's depression and it was fantastic for Daddy Daughter bonding

What a wonderful way to support your family and help your wife and baby. She really needed you. Sleep it so important when this happens. I had something pretty serious happen to me post partum. More like post partum psychosis, but they gave me a diagnosis of PTSD triggered from four months of life and death situations with my preemie twins. And several other things compounded. My mom's breast cancer, 9-11 hit the towers that month, new job, etc. As a single mom I barely made it. It was only because of a dear friend who took my twins to her house across the street for a month and brought them back a couple hours a day. She brought me meals. Made me get outside for walks. And I received respite care for the twins' medical complications, through a program before this even happened. They upped my hours to 24 hrs a day in my home for another month. I honestly thought they'd have to remove my babies. I fought hard to get better for their sake. My friend and the respite worker also kept touch with my mom who lived 200 miles from me. "It takes a village" or in your case, a one man Army! You're amazing! Great job dad!!! I have a wonderful, supportive, husband now. I really wonder how good it must feel to have that during a difficult pregnancy. Anyway, I'm really happy for your family that she's doing better. 😊👨‍👩‍👦

36 weeks pregnant with my 3rd (an adopted embryo)! Never hurts to brush up on this stuff, especially because as an "experienced mom" people already assume I remember everything from the last kiddo lol

wish there was a video of the opposite. he was eating/ not eating gained just right then sudden acting like hes starving all the time ( 5 weeks eating 6-8 every 2 hours... when before it was 2-4 oz 3-4hours seems like it started when i shut down from the nursing hence formula came in the picture and was shocked to see corn syrup in those...i keep trying to get back to my nurse but kept shutting down...tried again few days ago and bleeding... man this sucks!!!! how do i function... i struggle enough to eat as is -_- n dont have my mom here anymore or any other moms around me... been asking on youtube in desperation... i also been trying pace feeding on first 4 oz then pacifier ( i did not want to use it at all cost) for a bit then 2 oz back again to pacifier to 2 oz... and trying to distract and do other things. crazy how he acts like hes starving and hes 10.5 im assuming hes about to be overweight or is... anyone out there know how to keep from overfeeding? im so desperate to get back to nursing and pumping. and yes to the haters i know im doing something wrong.... dont bash me. tell me what helped your child that overeats please...

I’ve been concerned about reflux and indigestion on my breastfeed baby. I’m hoping this technique helps relieve their symptoms. My only other concern now is making sure he poops 💩 regularly.

I’m going to miss you Dr. Paul I love your show I just can’t believe some people just won’t let you be who you are is a doctor there’s nothing wrong with using common sense what is wrong with people because you believe in a higher power and something bigger than you you’re all of a sudden not worth it to be a doctor anymore I call that Ludacris it is the dumbest thing I have in my life ever seen you will be sorely missed and sorely loved.😢😢😢😢😢😢
