LYRICS
Every day
Hell rains on Gaza
The teacher and the doctor,
The mother and the father
10 thousand child martyrs
Pray no more inshallah
Hear the silence on apartheid
While they condemn the intifada
From the comfort of the throne built on the bones
Off those who’s struggle you’ve never known
(You’ve never known)
And If you could only feel
The pain of Al Khalil
You’d know that it was real
(You’d know that it was real)
Walk a mile in Gaza
Walk a mile in Ramallah
Walk a mile in Nazareth
Walk a mile in Hebron
Down the valley of Jordan
You’ll see
The olive seed grow into a tree
How justified are resistances in hind sight?
(How justified? How justified?)
How many times
Do we have to see this very same fight?
(How many times? This very fight?)
Before we recognise
That it’s cause before effect
We waste hours, dollars, bullets, pounds and lives all to protect
A house that is built
On the sand of stolen land
The only peace will come
From Jews and Arabs hand in hand
Walk a mile in Gaza
Walk a mile in Ramallah
Walk a mile in Nazareth
Walk a mile in Hebron
In the valley of Jordan you’ll see
The olive seed grow into a tree
Her name was hind rajab
They took everything she had
They bombed her house
She tried to escape the bombs
And They killed her family
In a bullet riddled car
She called for an ambulance
And they killed the paramedics
She was found dead alongside them
6 years fucking old
Do you feel safe?
Did she get what was coming?
Is the message sent?
Have you exercised
Your right to self defence?
Walk a mile in Gaza
Walk a mile in Ramallah
Walk a mile in Nazareth
(What threat did they pose to you?)
Walk a mile in Hebron
In the valley of Jordan
You will see
The olive seed grow into a tree

This is probably the most important piece of work I've ever been a part creating. DWDW is a force not to be taken lightly. Artists using their voice for critical commentary of injustice when the business would have you silenced. Exceptional ability to capture a feeling in words and sounds. This anger is what we should all feel witnessing oppression, apartheid and genocide streamed to your hands. Solidarity with our friends in Palestine. Free Gaza. Free Palestine. Freedom for human kind.
Proud of all the work you put into this brother!
@@declanwelshthedecadentwest9909 absolute honour to be asked to contribute mate
Powerful, beautiful and upsetting. Great work lads.
FREE PALESTINE
Only Brave and Truthful artists can change this narcissistic system. No politics, nor any other shit.
True art makes you feel something, this is it. Thank you DWDW for your unwavering humanity, endless respect and admiration for you
fucking inspiring. organise, unite, free gaza.
solidarity from singapore. this song is MOTHER
Great song with an even greater message!
thank you ❤🍉
Yessss, I'm the first to like and comment! I'm obsessed with this song and video. Hope it raises tons of funds to help people in Gaza 🤘🙏🕊️🇵🇸
Ach the aim is more that it’s purposive art, we know streaming won’t generate tonnes of money even if it goes crazy, but it just felt wrong taking a profit from a song like this you know?
Regardless, it's very noble of you to use your artistic talents to raise awareness and support this cause in a selfless manner. In solidarity, and to a free Falasteen!
thank you for speaking up for Palestine! nobody is free until everyone is free
Exactly! The constant violence is a symptom of a violent, unequal world.
Solidarity from Perth, Scotland🏴🇵🇸
I love this song.
Bless you for your solidarity! Free Palestine 🇵🇸
Free Palestine!
🇵🇸
InshaAllah
I know I said it before, but thank you guys for using your platform, I got to witness you talk about everything live in Munich back then. Unfortunately a lot of people ignore what is going on, literally letting a g3n0c!de happen 💔🇵🇸
It was crazy seeing Germany descend into madness after we spent 5 gigs talking about Palestine to pretty enthusiastic applause generally. Who could have predicted the country’s descent into authoritarian anti leftism? If only we’d had some historical precedent…
@declanwelshthedecadentwest9909 It is insanity because most people justify their support of Israel due to what Germany has done in its past but not recognizing what Isreal is doing at this very moment, is exactly what Germany did. I'm honestly at a loss for words but that's why it is important for us to amplify Palestinian voices as best as we can 🇵🇸🕊
Beautiful, incredible. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thanks so much
Needed this… thank you
I wonder what the arabic word for 'infuriated weeping' is. Only they could know how to artiulate that sadness mixed with rage into a phrase.
Free Palestine 🇵🇸
THIS IS PUNK 💥 FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸

OK but what's the solution?
Let's start with a permanent ceasefire.
Dismantle apartheid, one state where everyone has equal rights, land back, dismantle illegal settlements. Easy. History tells us what we should do in the face of unjustice, this is not the first ever genocide. So stop asking the same question for decades and take action
@@nzhrhzn Yes one secular state for all where religion is completely disconnected from politics. That's the only viable option in the long term but I fear this will descend into more and more horrible bloodbaths. I'm just an ordinary citizen, what power do I have?
@@leaedt7614 you have more power than you think, power is in the masses. Gather your fellow friends and go protest, vote, start petitions, educate others. Resistance is the way to go
@@bykremi The problem is that when people demonstrate, in the best of cases they do it for a two-state solution, which if it happens one day, will not solve anything. Those two states will be theocratic and constantly fight each other. And in the worst of cases, they do it for the destruction of Israel, so the continuation of atrocities and human rights violations.
