It is a matter already decided.'” ﴿٢٢﴾ فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَانْتَبَذَتْ بِهِ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا 22. So she conceived him, and withdrew with him to a remote place. ﴿٢٣﴾ فَأَجَاءَهَا الْمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَنِي مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنْتُ نَسْيًا مَنْسِيًّا 23. The labor-pains drove her to the trunk of the palm-tree. She said, “I wish I had died before this, and been completely forgotten.” ﴿٢٤﴾ فَنَادَاهَا مِنْ تَحْتِهَا أَلَّا تَحْزَنِي قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّا 24. Whereupon he called her from beneath her: “Do not be sad; your Lord has placed a stream beneath you. ﴿٢٥﴾ وَهُزِّي إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ تُسَاقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا 25.
