WHAT.A.MATCH. Fernandez and Siniakova were NOT playing like this tourney was just some regular degular 250. They were both sooo hungry. Siniakova playing lights out despite her spill earlier in the last set (thought she was gonna retire but played through the pain quite well). And Ms. Fernandez with those LETHAL dtl winners rendered me speechless. I couldn't believe my eyes at the shots she was making in. You go Leylah! I hope this 250 will build Leylah's confidence for the 2024 season!

Fernandez won this match only because of umpire stupidity and idiocy. This umpire clearly doesn't know how tennis rules work. Just because Siniakova was injured this braindead chair umpire didn't count those Siniakova's point ending shots as winners which clearly landed inside singles court and those Fernandez's point ending shots which clearly landed outside singles court as unforced errors. This umpire clearly is stupid beyond any help and must be fired. Especially during key moments of this match this braindead chair umpire made mistakes in line calls and point awardings in Fernandez's favor. This umpire is clown.

Those who panned leylah for her complaing about the time being taken by emma inthe us open are wrong. The physio took much too much time to fashion an ornate bandage for a scratch
that needed a touch of antiseptic and a bandaid. The prolonged timeout robbed Leylah of momentum when she was in the midst of a comeback. This was crucial to the outcome.

Emotions are under control for young Canadians, and good court ethics.

Happy to see Leylah winning again! Does anyone know was Siniakova injured? Just noticed she has both thighs heavily taped and fell to the ground during that one point.
