Payman Amiri, Ph.D. has been an Islamic activist and lay leader for the past 40 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is one of the co-founders of the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California (ICCNC), Oakland, CA. He has been the Chairman of the Board since 2016. He has a Ph.D. In Molecular Medicine from UCSF and worked in Pharmaceutical Industries for 30 years. He is the head of operations at a start up in the Bay Area. He has more than 30 years of experience managing various drug discovery or diseas diagnostic projects.
