why would you put fresh air before the noise gate and before any tuning? your chain is not even in the right order, and eq’s instead of heavy fresh air would be way more beneficial.

Cos fresh air adds clarity and helps for the vocals feedback when you are hearing yourself speak , it also makes the post EQ and mixing a lot easier

@@madlopherliy you can experiment of course, but how do you not understand that certain things are objectively shit for the mix? why would you want to tune the fresh air? it makes literally zero logical sense? it only adds potentially bad artifacts. theres a reason professional audio engineers choose specific orders for their chains, such as comp before eq and such. but genuinely this is not such scenario; he does not understand how the order affects things, and is doing it randomly.
