Madrone did very well for an adult starter violinist, his very first competition, going against everyone in the Western US region in the Adult division, and he's only been playing 2 years - he likely ranked 5th or 6th but they only post and award the top 3 so we don't know for certain. I placed 3rd in the competition for the Western US region in the Senior Division :) It was a LOT of fun!
