    Most commonly used service: EC2 / Elastic Compute Cloud (get bare servers, launch the server to run your software), VPC / Virtual Private Cloud (create networks in the cloud and run your servers in those networks), S3 / Simple Storage Service), Relational Database Service (Aurora), Route 53, ELB (Elastic Load Balancing)

    Its a good, although basic introduction to Cloud Computing and AWS. Took the effort to make a quality video.
    AWS still is a major platform for people who want to make a good earning, a career change to AWS for System Administrators is a good choice. Take the time to learn AWS today and make that career change.

    As an independent app developer, currently using Azure web services and an azure back end database, i am still unclear as to what advantages AWS would offer. To me this seemed more like a sales pitch, rather than offering any details on what it actually provides in terms of technology. I looked at the AWS Xamarin toolkit and that looked like an excellent way to authenticate users, but is this enough to switch to AWS?

    I want to know about upcoming changes by Automation on AWS. How much beneficial if I select to do career in this?

    • @SimplilearnOfficial
      @SimplilearnOfficial  6 лет назад +2

      Hi Prajyot,
      The Automation feature in EC2 Systems Manager simplifies common maintenance and deployment tasks, such as updating Amazon Machine Images (AMIs). AMI maintenance is greatly simplified by Automation, allowing you to patch, update agents, or bake applications in to your AMI using a streamlined, repeatable, and auditable process. You can use Automation to quickly build workflows to accomplish complex tasks. You can start by using pre-defined workflows, or build and execute your own through a JSON-based document.
      Fore more details read-
      aws.amazon.com/ec2/systems-manager/
      If you are SysOps certified and have handsOn experienbce with automation with not only this one service, via CLI API etc, then Operations work projects are too many in service based industries. The scope is broad enough.
      Regards,
      Simplilearn

    No doubt about been an excellent cheap way of getting IT services 'on line'. The 'costs' which are not mentioned are "privacy" and "independence" of Internet services, while "back-up" could be a nightmare. Government and Databases are exposed to 'cyber attacks' and should use only Private Networks as used in the Banking Industry.

      Hi Raja, if you are entirely new to AWS, we prescribe around 120 hours or 3 months to prepare. Begin with the basics and after that move to the Solutions Architect Associate Learning Path.
      To know the prerequisites and basic essentials of AWS, begin with this course: www.simplilearn.com/cloud-computing/aws-technical-essential-training. Hope that helps!

    Excellent and concise tutorial. Which AWS Certification is suitable for an Oracle DBA to be able to meet current job market requirements?

    • @SimplilearnOfficial
      @SimplilearnOfficial  6 лет назад +1

      Hi! You always have a choice based on your interest.
      If you take AWS Solutions Architect Associate and Architect Professional later, the type of job you can get is:
      1. Moving the DB from one network to the other. 2. Copy the tables from one DB to the other. 3. Distributing the read requests to the child DB's4. And lot more.
      If you take AWS Solutions Architect Associate now and AWS BIG DATA Speciality later, the type of job you can get is:
      1. Working with Elastic Map deduce and Amazon Redshift.2. Running Spark Job3. Running Redshift queries, or separate ETL queries into
      different queues.4. And lot more.

      Hi Ojhasoftsolutions, It depends on your requirement. It's not about windows EC2 or Linux EC2. It's in general about windows vs Linux. Check here for the difference-www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000575.htm

    • @SimplilearnOfficial
      @SimplilearnOfficial  6 лет назад

      Hi Amarnath, let me help you decide which one you should opt for. Firstly a .NET Developer/Programmer earns nearly $65,791 per year but AWS solution architect earns more than $100,000 per year easily. Since AWS is rooting up everywhere, they are having more openings than .NET Programmers. If I were you, I would go for AWS.

      Hi, if you are a fresher and want to start your career with AWS, we would say that you are on the right path. If you have a technical or computer background, it would be easier for you to understand the AWS concepts. If you don't have the technical background, then it would little tough on initial days. We recommend you to go through this course to make your foundation strong: www.simplilearn.com/cloud-computing/aws-technical-essential-training. Hey there... have you ever seen a good responsable employee being unemployed for a length of time? You know, as I see it in my region, honest responsable employees will always find a job. I think there might be are areas in the world where its more difficult.

    • @mohammadhamadi5673

      You do realize that those same IT employees work with computers that automated thousands of other jobs thus rendering those jobs useless right? As for the local shops, most adapted and shifted to online shops (and are probably making more money).
      Technology will keep on advancing, and closing one market will open another, we just have to adapt. Also for your information, AWS doesn't replace IT employees.
