When I was learning rekka loops, practicing the timing off of looking at her leg really helped me dial it in more consistently. Absolutely a great tip to keep in mind!
For anyone else having a tough time getting the delayed/orange 2nd rekka to come out (instead of the plain white one) before doing the cancel, if I start the input immediately after her hand becomes visible (after the white "swish" goes away) during rekka 1, it comes out consistently. Thanks so much for this guide, once I figured that out it's been so consistent!

I watched the vod earlier and the timing on the foot on rekka 2 made it so much easier so thanks for that! I just need to remember to keep my stick neutral on the dash cancel

Unholy molly! Looking at her leg was the key! I knew I have to do 214-dash-punch, but I couldn't find timing. Leg advise made my rekka into rekka consistent in a minute!

I’m just getting into the game and I’ve been playing Ram since Strives been on Xbox, and I was attempting to do a few cancel combos and I was able to get the cancels decently then I would lose all timing/touch with it, after watching this video it literally answered all the questions I had 🔥

Tip for people on very fast setups (low-latency monitor, hitbox, 1000Hz polling) The timing is actually very LATE, you do the inputs at the very end of the hitstop I kept getting only the dash coming out, turns out I was doing the inputs too early. Adjusted my timing to be later and I'm golden.
Visual que is one thing I've never think of. I'll have to practice on that. Personally I use 66214 to do this because the 66 kinda "buffers" for it. Delayed 2nd rekka, though, is my bane of existence. Never been able to pin down the exact timing to be able to pull it off 2D>rekka.

Hey the rekka 2 cancel into rekka 1 comes out but it doesnt connect. I dont know what the mistake is. If i do earlyer there comes rekka 3 and later the empty dash.
this might vary based on which character is ur target dummy, using ky i think i found: kick->2dust wasn't able to loop rekka2 into rekka1, but 2dust alone their gravity is low enough for it to work
it's been months since they added this and while i've mastered pretty much most of these, rekka 1 into rekka 1 on block is still so absurdly difficult to do though i've seen many top players do it consistently
are the last 2 (3rd loop) non empowered? can pretty much do it consistently if so but my thumbs about falling off so gonna settle for that till I get a reply
Let's talk about Sol's c.S for a moment. According to dustloop it has +3 on block ( which is accurate) and +13 on hit (really?). However there is no way to get a true link c.S, 2K or even c.S, 5P. Looks like c.S on hit is also +3 can you explain what's happening?
The type of hitstun Sol's c.S puts the opponent in is special. It is essentially "block cancelable" hitstun after a point. There are a number of moves that do it in this game and it is a bit odd. So it is +13 but that doesn't mean you can combo off it
am I stupid i don't know, i can't do the loop, i can't even cancel the rekka in another special move. I have seen that Goldlewis can also attack in the dash phase. some advice? I tried with the dash button but nothing, I could not do even once.
for special moves its rekka 1 > rekka 2 > then H sword toss but u press HS and dash at the same time, try inputting H sword toss during rekka 2 animation

Are you just getting rekka into a dash with no special move? If that's the case you are either inputting the special too early or too late. You can only cancel the very initial part of the dash so the timing is specific
It's my first day playing ggst, or any guilty gear. I can sometimes pull off rekka 1, into rekka 1. I'm almost there but idk if my brain is failing me, because these inputs r a lil different from what I'm used to and I didn't use a controller for basically 2 years, or if I'm making some kind of mistake
