He copped a manslaughter-charge, not premeditated murder so it was a lesser sentence.

You was born in the eighties
    Pops drove a Mercedes
    Did a bid
Coming home to some grown ass kid
Crack baby turned to young thug
    Description might fit you
Look around he might hit you
    No joke
Don't wanna pistol fight with you
Shit come around faster then you think
Blood and white chalk make pink
    So what that make you
    Become a creature of habitat
    The average cat
    won't see where it's at
    Or what where it's going
The hood waits for no one
    I've been through it
    From Ewings to buicks
    To body viewings
    car chases to courtcases
    From wanting it all
To being the object of you admiration
    Imagination
    Is what they lack
It stops niggas from getting stacks
    Feeling trapped
On the block with loose cracks
    Wisdom is vital
    For the survival
    Of the streets disciple

What I mean is, Chi Ali was about that life and his brother in law was about that life too. They were both in the streets, so to me it's not really a crime. But if he killed an innocent citizen than I would agree. Give him life.

I am true hip hop head who came up listening to hip hop when it was so much more relevant to us and represented the peoples from that hood, city, state, and the whole hip hop community. Chi Ali is probably a couple years younger in age difference to me. And i banged that "Age aint nothin but a number" Chi is not à gangster and never has been. You can tell by how he speaks that he was à young kid caught in the streets with a "this is what it gotta be whatever" hood type mentality, but he matured. He realizes that what he did wont gangsta, it was wack is a mahfucka. I applaud homie for atleast knowin and acknowledging his actions, accepting responsibility for his actions and truly being regretful. He realizes life is one of the few things in life you cant get back. Now even with that said, he's still here but we all know no matter what we all see karma for our fucked up actions. And it comes in many ways and forms. Now jus à thought, not trying to speak it in existence... Now the nephew and his daughter may be cool or jus may appear to be, atleast on the surface. Now what if, because of the nephews trials and tribulations he felt he endured cause of having his father being taken away by his uncle, in turn release that anger, vengeance, and hate towards Chi's daughter by taking her life for her father taking the life of his father. See where im at with it. When its all said and done, we have to be careful of what we do cause eventually it comes back, good and bad.

    • @stanbeezie6128
      @stanbeezie6128 8 лет назад

Bro, he was a youngin when he caught dat bid so how much of a gangsta do u really think he is. And of course all of this is my opinion cause he cdve been more or less than a gangsta. And of course there are plenty of intelligent gangstas, but in the same breath there's a whole bunch of dumb ass ones too.

He takes responsibility for his actions, realizes the error of his ways, also realizes it was that street mentality that put the both of them in that situation and is ready and willing to make up for his mistake via Sean's son. Most importantly he's sincere! I'm with that...he has my support! Write a book Chi - with the right team, you'd be on the NY Times best seller's list (if that ho bag Superhead can do it, so can you!) Vlad, FINALLY, a thorough interview! That was some real shit. Totallly agree with SuperTstarks! Chi Ali need to capture the story in print or film. Nothings more compelling than when folks, who been through something, let their MESS be their MESSAGE!
