Please I really didn't get the domestic violence part (the one the counselor had with those couple). Are you encouraging women to stay in an abusive marriage? Please clarify this. The man who abuses his wife should be treated/helped while the woman is separated until he is very okay. She needs to be alive to fulfil God's mandate. May God be with Osinachi's children. It is well.

The counsellor seasoned the counselling meetings with the couple (both the husband and the wife) according to the film. And there marriage eventually worked out which was showed at the end of the movie. They both saw it that they needed help and they went to meet the counsellor. Which should be the first step. They both realised that they were sick and needed a doctor (Counsellor). And both went to see the counsellor. And their marriage stood. Osinachi's case was not so. Her own case was different based on the information heard. She was the only one seeing the counsellor. Each marriage is unique. Each home is with different issue and different approach. We are not to use one case to generalise issue like this... Marriage is one of the major targets of the devil. Marriage is broad. May the good Lord uphold our homes in Jesus' Mighty Name 🙏
For me who is also watching this movie over 7 months after it's release, immediately I reached that point on the marriage counseling where the counselor said 'its more honorable for a woman to die in her husband's house than in her father's house', I had to go to the comments section, then I saw this response. May God guide us aright. The case here is- there's death in husband's house but life in father's house.
