डिजिटल अरेस्ट एक प्रकार की साइबर ठगी है, जिसमें किसी व्यक्ति को ऑनलाइन माध्यम से गिरफ्तार होने का डर दिखाकर पैसे ठगे जाते हैं। इस ठगी में, साइबर ठग पुलिस या किसी सरकारी एजेंसी के प्रतिनिधि के रूप में वीडियो कॉल करके संपर्क करते हैं। फिर वे पीड़ित को यह बताते हैं कि उसके आधार कार्ड, सिम कार्ड, या पैन कार्ड का इस्तेमाल किसी गैरकानूनी गतिविधि में हुआ है। इसके बाद, वो लोगों को गिरफ्तार करने की धमकी देते हैं और उसे मानसिक रूप से बंदी बना लेते हैं। इस एपिसोड में हमने बात की साइबर एक्सपर्ट, Amit Dubey से जिन्होंने बताया की इस स्कैम से कैसे बचा जा सकता है.
Digital Arrest is a type of cyber fraud where individuals are tricked into paying money by being threatened with arrest online. In this scam, cyber criminals pose as police or representatives of a government agency and contact victims via video calls. They then inform the victims that their Aadhaar card, SIM card, or PAN card has been used in illegal activities. Following this, they threaten the victims with arrest and mentally imprison them. In this episode, we spoke with cyber expert Amit Dubey, who explained how to protect oneself from this scam.
