- Hi everyone! This is my song that I wrote recently called "Freedom".
I hope you like it!
Through the way how this song is finished in terms of sound, I personally preferred sharing with you the raw sound of guitar, bass and my voice as much as possible. As I wrote in my song, I am not sure where I will land. However, I will take your advice and try to make progress constantly. I will work hard on my weakness. I hope you stay by my side and lead me toward a better stage. I will continue my career posting and creating music.

JYP was wrong not including her for the group debut (Gina has been one of my top 4 during the show, especially after Melissa left) but he wasn't wrong about Gina lacking emotional engagement on her performances during A2K (I even rewatched again). I felt it many times too during her performances. This MV however, definitely shows the evolution of improvement the Gina we don't get to see in A2K. Possibly this is the result of what she has learned from her A2K experience & exit disappointment as well as also this song is her personal story/statement that helped her to bring out that emotion that was lacking before. The lyric, "This is me, you never gotta see the better version of me" maybe was directing to JYP... who knows... Regardless Gina is only 14 and she has a bright future ahead of her & I wish her the best of luck! I can't wait to see your next MV, Gina!

tbh she was talented but throughout the show, she never improved or made any difference / progress. i think that is why she was dropped. no one is denying that she IS talented but her talent-level stayed the same throughout the show.
@iloveminjeong01 not really? multiple people gave her advice but it was never applied. she just stayed the same and made absolutely no improvement. when you talk to idols like BTS, TWICE, SNSD, IU, and other huge names in the industry, they will tell you that they are ALWAYS improving. the fact that gina did not improve is a huge red flag.

Actually I like this concept more than the ones she did during A2K. I’m sad that she couldn’t debut with other girls but this cool and natural concept suit her more than the JYP-ish cute concept.

Singing while dancing is a whole different level of difficulty. Also KG has NEVER gotten 1st place even once. She has a lot of low ranking, with 8th place twice & no ranking 4 times. KG even has gotten her blonde privilege when JYP gave her a free dance solo stone for simply being (in JYP's words) "the worst of all contestants!" It's EP5 go watch it! It's hilarious & Melissa danced before her. So KG was even worse than Melissa in dancing as well as vocal. If Melissa didn't withdraw, maybe even blonde privilege won't even save her.
