    I'm 5 minutes from Patong beach right now! Thankfully there hasn't been a repeat of this horrible martial disaster. RIP to all the victims!

    I played semi professionally in a 7 peice band we played at a wedding beautiful couple our changing room was filled with the couples friends making private videos sending their love and heartfelt thoughts ..... after the couples face was on the BBC i recognised them immediately they honeymooned in Phuket i called the band and none of us could find out the outcome ...... 2 years later we played at the same venue and the venue manager told us they survived .... understand we were part of their special day it was tearful at the time not knowing.

    I was involved in a huge charity concert in London bridge and I wonder if it's this guy's charity, as I'm pretty sure it was set up in honour of a post brother?
    Regardless, an incredibly tragic disaster. The recent Nat Geo documentary left me balling like a baby.
