Just about every one of these “bossed” up women will STILL want to spend the money of their husband or mate and not touch any of their own. That’s what they mean by providing. The issue is what the real definition of a provider is. If it was just to provide food and shelter then a lot of men would willing sign up. @@PurpleGalaxies123 not always, some people are just raised differently or come from certain cultures. my wife and I both make good money and there’s things we each do and it’s not all conditional based on who’s the breadwinner. if I lose my job she’s not gonna stop cooking and if she loses hers it doesn’t mean I’ll stop doing all the driving on trips or fixing stuff around the house. for most couples today, unless one of the folks is making 2-3x what the other makes, there’s no true breadwinner and both sides are gonna be relied upon financially and the old conventions need to be adapted.

This is actually a problem with the American System and what it does to the relationship between professional men and professional women:
Men and women are encouraged to compete with each other in the economy, but the men are expected to "take care" of the women when they lose and the women are encouraged to belittle and emasculate the men when they "win." Where the men maintain an advantage over the women in things like STEM or the Military in terms of representation, policy measures are taken to reduce standards, offers of financial and educational support in the name of "equity" to kind of skew the balance in the woman's favor are also introduced. However, once the scale is skewed towards women and they begin to become overrepresented, as we see in things like education or the mental health profession, there's little to no effort to balance out the lack of representation...
This leads to an issue of entitlement in many professional American women, who think they are either superior to men in any profession they rise to the top in, or are completely oppressed in any profession that they are not at the top of or poorly represented, since the system only intervenes because of feminist interest groups, when they're losing, but never goes away or stops backing them when they start winning. This also prevents them from developing the HUMILITY of people who have competed under the same rules as others and have risen to the top, as opposed to those who got support but were never made to pay for it or to pay it forward.
And the irony of this whole thing, is that it's mostly held up and kept together by men, who agree to play a game that they cannot win.
