I think the main issue is mob density,
Copper Golems and the ice-wizard Pillager were based
They can do a mob vote between years.
2020 Mobs (Moobloom and Iceologer)
vs
2021 Mobs (Glare and Copper Golem)
vs
2022 Mobs (Rascal and Tuff Golem)
So instead of 1 mob joining the game, We can have 2 mobs joining the game and maybe bring back mobs we never got because we regretted voting for something. And there's always 3 contestants in mob votes since there are three years they can do that again

Just an Idea. It would be cool if in Minecraft there were statues for every mob vote mob that didn't make it in.
I like your idea.
Better yet, since now they’re adding the whole archeology thing….make it so you can find fossils of the mobs. That way instead of having statues of things that don’t exist in world, you can have skeletons of extinct animals.
Would also make it more immersive if they ever *do* decide to add the mob proper, as it would feel like the rediscovery of a species. Maybe they could even make the spawn rates low at first, and up them periodically to help with that feeling.
The “Last but certainly not least” on the Tuff golem aged very well 💀

From what I remember it was actually true since it was at least more popular than the rascal according to the polls I saw.
I sort of feel like the rascal would’ve been sort of cooler. I don’t know exactly how his hide and seek gimmick would work but it seems cool.

Sniffer's body shape is quite similar to the skeleton fossils we have, yes the sniffer is quite smaller in comparison but there's a chance that the fossils now have some more solid clues to what type of creature it supposed to be

The most Unexpected Thing was that the Tuff Golem got the Least Votes, as a lot more people were voting for Tuff Golem as compared to the Rascal.

Heres an idea for a mob in next mob vote: its a mob lives in a new structure in the end dimension that gives you random quest for a reward.
as other people have said we should just get 3 golems next year, at this point. but make sure they are a little more useful or else it would hardly count as "adding" uses to existing materials (like copper & tuff)

I’ve seen this being, oddly enough, the most agreeable mob vote option between fan bases of the game ever. Sniffer isn’t being met with any contest. I kind of knew it was going to win.

Unfortunate to have so much opposition on my vote. However, I can see sniffer being the most interesting out of the three, new items are always exciting aren't they? Some people hope this as the coming of the archaeology update. The Rascal probably has the most interesting gimmick of the three but also perhaps the least useful. And the Tuff Golems give item displays, but they have to fit with aesthetic of your showcase room (if you designate one). They also don't interact with the player much and their only other function is fulfilled by the allay and doesn't add any useful purpose to it.

What about a minecraft "land mass/structures" vote,
The one big thing that minecraft has always been lacking on is volcanos, underground villages, jungle ruins, giant trees (like the swamp in avatar the last airbender) and natural glacier water falls
Mobs are cool and all; but major structures would be a sight to see
The jungle/desert temples have existed for quite some time.. maybe add some new temples/ruins to compliment the new biomes?
Or ancient carved cliff statues in extreme hills (maybe created by pillagers)
Or in the nether for instance; we see broken portals in the over world but we dont see them in the nether in which we could come to assume the piglins were trying to make portals to enter the overworld (according to the lore of minecraft: legends)

I think we all knew the outcome of this. The sniffer sounded interesting and helpful when combined with the ally, the rascal sounded helpful and fun but there wasn't enough info on it for it to show how it's helpful. The tuff golem, well they keep bringing mobs that move stuff around and even tho there's nothing to do with tuff, there's little to no usefulness over the ally.

I think they wanted the Golem to win as they've tweeted about the other golem from the previous mob vote. I think they really want to add it for some archeological update. But I think the Sniffer was the best option here with what they've told us about them.

If the Rascal can pull out unobtainable and unseeable weapons or items, it may or may not have probably won.
They should've elaborated more when it comes to the items that the Rascal can display. But other than that, I'm glad that the Sniffer won we may have a potential predator for the dino.

People just wanted to vote the sniffer because it introduced new plants. Why else do you think it got over half the total votes. Minecraft should have at least given us a little more info on the other mobs imo. For example, the drops of the rascal, or mechanics with the tuff golem.

Just an idea, but what about a farming/food update that adds a bunch new food types and crops (that don't have to be real food) to give a little more variety to these things. Farming is kind of bland right now and there is only a few food options that people even use.
Also make the plants dug up from the sniffer do something its annoying getting things from an update only for them to be basically useless unless your a builder.
Well, I've seen people theorize that with the new plants comes new crops, which would mean new food. Hopefully that's the case!!

We're getting snapshots in like a day or two.
Honestly it makes sense that the sniffer won without even trying since minecraft's most common type of player is builder's. (at least that's what I think ) it's also the reason why tuff golem didn't stand a chance, sniffer just adds too much to the game to afford to lose plus players can just build a statue holding something just without it waking up and walking around.

I’m so incredibly happy that the Sniffer won. It was difficult for me to make a decision because the others were pretty cool as well but I went with it because I thought it was just on another level.
It was easy for me, well kind of.
I had a decision of either choosing the Rascal or the Sniffer (because i thought the Tuff Golem was useless). But i ended up choosing the Sniffer, and i’m happy about it.

The surprising thing was that the tuff golem got the least amount of votes even though in the fake vote it won.
