The way to win the boar matchup is to make their rez pool more than just boars. The Paladin would eventually need to play something else besides just the first turn boar, at which point you kill everything else. It's possible the paladin kills off their own boar to ensure the rez pool, but at least you make them spend time/resources instead of doing it for them. By killing the first boar he basically handed the game over to the Paladin on the first turn.
This is the correct reply. And as much as I respect regis' take in most situations, I think its pretty safe to say the opponent would have felt forced to play out more minions and as soon as they have 2 or 3 minions in the pool you severely reduce the likelihood that they get boars. It, would still be a tough matchup, but the idea that he had no chance is just wrong, probably closer to 10-20%.

Technically, you can add Gadgetzan cards to your deck When you have only 2 expansion or less in your starting deck, you can get buckets from Gadgetzan, Outland and other wild sets

Felt this so hard. Hoping we see something new this year with the plans for the wild collection and the "spell locked." Honestly wouldn't mind if duels got out-phased by a new and improved draft/deck-building mode, excited for what's to come hoping for the best

Against the boar you could try to take 1 damage per turn until you can kill anything else he'd spit to throw that in the pool before the boar itself. Guess that was the game plan
Faceless boar would of saved him. It does not matter on what side of the field did the boars died. It does not look to see if YOU lost boars, just that 7 boars died.

Exactly. The matchup goes from unwinnable to 10-20% like you say. I’m no pro so I respect the gameplay up to that point.
