This is my favorite version of In The Air Tonight! Man, Phil’s voice is top shelf here! Thanks for sharing this. I do miss Phil. I listen every day to either Phil or Genesis and it’s the best music ever. I hope they do eventually put Phil in the Hall.
@@ethelip5239 I just never saw any videos of him playing guitar so was really surprised by that. I became a Genesis fan in 1980 so I guess I missed some stuff.
@@KaraMeier-o7r It’s true; he mostly gave it up after the very early days. But he is said to have written the opening of Supper’s Ready on 12-string & he actually played all the guitars & bass on his first solo album! In 1997, the tour with Ray Wilson, was the first time he played guitar on stage since they performed Supper’s Ready in 1982, when they did an acoustic set like this one. ✌️
@@ethelip5239 well, I missed the Ray Wilson stuff-die hard Phil fan! 😀 Tony is so talented and seriously underrated as a mainstay of the band. Thanks for the info!
A tribute to the biggest person in Phil's professional life.
Another nugget that I didn’t know existed 😊 Thank you!
It's my specialty! LOL Trying to bring forth as much as I can to exemplify why Phil deserves to be in the RRHOF as a solo artist. XO
Always beautiful and suggestive to see Tony playing guitar🥰👍
So very awesome! Phil Collins and always will be an icon!

And Darryl is the key to this version being so awesome. Can’t forget the great Darryl.

Do you have some rarities of “Easy lover”?😊
Do you mean outtakes and things? I personally do not. Perhaps Jim Yukich, the Director has some I can certainly ask him.
When did Tony learn to play guitar?
Around 1968.
Tony played on Genesis songs way back
