I was blown away (hah ha!) by how dynamic the finished piece looked! Your attention to detail never fails to impress. I don't table-top game or do miniatures, but just seeing how creative you are in your methods and skills tempts to me to give dioramas a try, even if they're just for display. Very inspiring!
Great episode. My 11 year old grandson just watched it with me. He is visiting for the weekend and decided to do this build for himself. As I am an HO model Railroader I liked your fireball technique so much he and I will be working, side by side, making the fireball for his wizard. And numerous animated comets versions attacking my military layout. I already have your smoking, fire raged, building, in four variations, on the ground. These fireballs/comets will be a superb addition. Thanks, "Grumpy" Jim and Luke
wow it starts to get warm at our feet, this is again beautiful with all those techniques, and certainly the 3D printer. and the fireball really beautiful, the pigments and flakes come into their own. just keep going john you are doing well.
Love how you used the metal rod for the exploding bricks. Super effective. Also, that lighting. Just amazing. (Still watching just got excited and had to comment)
I, too, got a photon mono and I've been having a LOT of fun with it! My favorite part, beside the awesome mini/diorama, is you using the very printer I have, showing me what is possible with the right tools and a little imagination!
You've just helped me realise that mosses/lichens/verdigris almost always stains/discolours the surface beyond the actual growth. I also have Mono envy. Glad you didn't get the large one or I'd be even more envious.
You got it... thanks for watching and the feedback. I like those little touches like the sword. The guy flying into the large column has his helmet blown off and an axe flying in the air too...
One quick tip I just discovered if you take your washed models, and dip them in hot water it helps the supports come off even easier. Most pre supported models are already pretty good but this makes them even easier. Watch out for small details like swords and things that might get yanked off with the supports still.
Now that is most impressive indeed. Terrain building has gone a long way since it all started in 80-90s. Some time ago I bought a couple of old WHFB books (army books, general's compendium, how to build terrain, etc). Some of the terrain pieces there still look pretty impressive, but they are nowhere near the level of modern models, such as yours, for example. It is very nice to see that that the hobby is developing in a separate form of petty art.
OMG!! This has to be in my top 3 favorite builds you have ever done!! Love how you are using all sorts of things in yoru builds, especially the electronics! You have gone way past my abilities!! Your channel as sure grown since the beginning! Keep up the good work and thanks for taking the time to make these videos!

I wanted to get into the diorama building, after watching this I am in. Great work, your channel is growing by leaps and bounds!! I love it! Thank you.
That's awesome they made special mini's for you. They looked great. My gaming group is thinking about getting the same 3d printer you have. The research we've done on it so for looks great, very reasonable price as well. If you don't mind me asking, what's your opinion of it?
OUTSTANDING John! The fireball effect is awesome. Love the idea of incorporating more electronic tutorials into the videos. Keep up the great work sir!
Every week you seem to out do yourself. I'm so happy you are getting into 3d printing elements. I bet Soon you will be making window frames, bottles, chests etc. This one was definitely most impressive
Very well done sir! Looking forward to more LED and electric components in your tutorials, an aspect that is lacking in a lot of the other crafter's channels.
I love it! It is amazing how nearly every video you manage to cram in a bunch of new techniques to help people expand their knowledge base when it comes to crafting, keep up the awesome work.
Thank you for the tutorial on the awesome fireball! I’m using your techniques on my current build to create a flamethrower effect! I also got the Bombay inks and I’m trying them as well! Beautiful work!!
Great work as always! I am wanting to get into diorama building so my favorite part of this video was seeing that you can get some use out of some of it with other games as well. Great utility.
Wow! Super dynamic diorama. Nicely done! And very cool to see you getting in on the 3D action. There are so many great resin printers out there theses days now! I've heard about Anycubic before. May have to look into it. You made it seem super easy to use!
Once again, awesome! If you're experimenting with leds and electronics, I'd suggest also trying out some uv-leds and neon paints that light up under uv. I really like neon paints, it's in different colors and it can make the slimiest green just that more slimier, ice it can make icier, and you can suggest fire or sparks by drops of yellow-orange paint (like also in cracks or on miniatures.) I think especially if you also use other lighting, you can use it to get both a balanced total and have some special effects too.
One of your best John. I totally like this idea and it works really well. Perhaps you could add a few splatters of blood to indicate being hit by the debris?
Great texturing techniques on the foam. The "stuff" you poured was green, so of course you used more than you needed. And why no matter what orientation you attempt to plug in a usb you have to always flip it 3 or more times? Fantastic piece brother !!!🤘
Thank you! I'm determined to perfect my stone texture without having to place individual pieces.. it's a work in progress. I'll master it at some point! Tell me about it... even if they are lined up perfect it's a no go haha.

That’s awesome…. I love to hear that! It sounds like it will be a sight to see!
The fireball effect is great, but what really sells it is the way it's composed - it's really dynamic. Fantastic paintwork too.
Thank you very much! I really had fun on each corner of this project!

Amazing, the sense of motion is unreal from the explosion and the fireball looks freaking real
