    Notting Hill Carnival 1985 Part 1
    This film was made by O Globo in Brazil and shows the first official parade by the LSS on Bank Holiday Monday at the Notting Hill Carnival. The first parade by the LSS in 1984 had been on the Sunday of Carnival.
    The 1985 was "If you've never heard Samba, Listen!" (Proposed by Zé Lavravdor and Mari Haberli).

    The LSS took to the road with around 65 drummers and 60 dancers. The bateria is led by João Bosco de Oliveira and features Pato Fuentes, Carlos Fuentes, Alan Hayman, German Santana, Dave Bitelli, Hamish Orr, Vairag, Liliana Chachian, Sam Alexander, Diego Medina, Gerry Hunt, Mike Lindup (the keyboard player from Level 42), Mark Waldman, Åke Persson, Richard Wallace, Mike Ryden, Julio Bransford amongst others. Dancers included Ana Coelho, Elza Perez and Ana-Marie Wallace amongst others.
    This film was uploaded by transferred from VHS to DVD by Mestre Mags in April 2010, and uploaded to youtube by me in November 2013.
