The symbolism of the olive press really touched me when i wrapped my head around it. The entire idea of a tree, and trimming out the bad, to bear more fruit... simply amazing. You can see the Martyrs of Christ, who bore much fruit, and in their last days were killed. That is awful, but in so doing, the Gospel got out to the world! Their final act of bearing fruit, was to spread the Gospel around like oil! God is amazing, and the symbolism He uses to teach us and guide us is astonishing to me.

He was crushed, that was his greatest temptation, biggest pain. His victory at the Gat Shimane...(Olive Press) was the final, which helped him to win over cross, death and grave.

I shared this wonderful video with my Israeli son in law. His response: This was genuinely interesting! I felt like I was there; It's a funny feeling... When he's driving in the car I feel like I am with him. When he was opening the screen door to his home I could feel how light it was. I tasted the food and smelled the air. I felt the sun. I don't normally experience those things or think about it when watching anything, but this was different. Thank you for sending. This guy is very easy going and nice. What's his background? Sometimes you watch a random video and it gives you answers to your questions. What I wanted to see in this video is the process of making olive oil, simple as that. But as, I was watching, things started getting clear . I didn't know the difference between " crushing the olives" and " pressing the olives", but the crushing of olives has a special meaning to me because it is a word I was given 5 years ago when my son passed away. The pressing of olive is an answer to what I am experiencing now . Everything makes sense now, I am at peace and the timing is on point since we are a few days after Easter. This video was awesome for me, loved watching the whole method that was used. I have been to Israel several times, would love to watch it done, instead of just buying it already done. My daughter, grandson, granddaughter along with my husband took the train from Tel Aviv to Haifa once. My husband and I drive around Israel in a rental car, so would be fun to press our olives freshly. Your symbolism explanation of the olive oil was beautifully done. I hope on coming to Israel again this June.

I shared this wonderful video with my Israeli son in law. His response: This was genuinely interesting! I felt like I was there; It's a funny feeling... When he's driving in the car I feel like I am with him. When he was opening the screen door to his home I could feel how light it was. I tasted the food and smelled the air. I felt the sun. I don't normally experience those things or think about it when watching anything, but this was different. Thank you for sending. This guy is very easy going and nice. What's his background? He jokes about "kosher" several times... Interesting.

Sometimes you watch a random video and it gives you answers to your questions. What I wanted to see in this video is the process of making olive oil, simple as that. But as, I was watching, things started getting clear . I didn't know the difference between " crushing the olives" and " pressing the olives", but the crushing of olives has a special meaning to me because it is a word I was given 5 years ago when my son passed away. The pressing of olive is an answer to what I am experiencing now . Everything makes sense now, I am at peace and the timing is on point since we are a few days after Easter. Thank you for posting this video.

This video was awesome for me, loved watching the whole method that was used. I have been to Israel several times, would love to watch it done, instead of just buying it already done. My daughter, grandson, granddaughter along with my husband took the train from Tel Aviv to Haifa once. My husband and I drive around Israel in a rental car, so would be fun to press our olives freshly. Your symbolism explanation of the olive oil was beautifully done. I hope on coming to Israel again this June.
