I find it super interesting how the optometrist was able to figure out all the measurement points from one measurement of PD. An interesting piece of forensic work. In today’s age, it wouldn’t be necessary to do what was shown in the video by the doctor as long as they get a warrant to look at his optometrist’s file on him. The optometrist office has an extensive record on every frame a patient buys down. PD, color, price, year, 3 measurements. Also checking the Rx of the glasses found at scene and matching it to the Rx his doctors gave him. Today, this case would be easily solved with the help of optometry receptionist. No need for a Waterloo doctor of optometry.

In grade 12 he was 315lbs and 6’2”. Very athletic and generally a nice guy. Alcohol was a problem always but no excuse. Tragic all around. A lot of people tried to help him avoid his destiny but his future was written long before. Terrible that Debbie had to be in his path.

for those wondering how he was able to make a definitive analysis, he record exact dimensions of the glasses, and small imperfections( tilt of the lenses damage on the surface, etc), when all the features are added together, the chance of another pair of glasses sharing the exact size and concurrent physical imperfections becomes astronomical, plus james brown ended up confessing years later anyhow.

Whoops it's Canada! Even if my fav tomato is involved I won't watch this. Because no how hideous their crimes Canadian justice is despicable! They let their rapists n murderers out in a few years. That frustrates me so much that when FF is in Canada (or Australia), I won't watch it. Period. But on to the next one.

The huge mistake that Debbie did was to open that kitchen window and them go to sleep. Being a first floor ground apartment, it was an “invitation” to anyone to enter the premises. Poor Lacey, was left without a mother because of the actions of a deranged criminal. May Debbie Rest in Peace always 🙏
Moral to this story: if the apartment or house is hot, turn on the air conditioner or a fan but LEAVE YOUR WINDOWS CLOSED ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT.
