I think the humor in that comment is hit-and-miss, but definitely worth a chuckle. comparatively, I thouroughly enjoyed how much intended tension Zed's EXagonal injected into the beginning of this walk Around, specifically when positioned against all of the Bright Esoteric signs - it really helped channel a sense of urgency and suspense! Naturally , considering one of the objectives is to collect scrolls, one canonly hope this tension is palpable enough to tempt gamers into continuing throughout the rest of the stage. Awn7mFktpB4

I love how for years people have wanted a good FNAF free roam and when one comes out within minutes of playing the reaction is "I'm not leaving the office" 😂
I'm starting to believe time and money weren't the only reasons Scott made FNAF a point and click haha.
I think the main issues are that the office is like the only "safe" space you have, and also that your objective is sort of just to survive.
I feel like FNAF 2 would do better as a free roam. You could make it so people have to physically go wind the music box so that way they can't just hide around the whole night.

Not gonna lie, Mark completely ignoring the nights on top right corner is so on brand.
On another hand, I gotta say I really like the concept of this game. Having the gang actually move around makes it much more interesting and more tactical, giving the player more freedom of action and planning instead of just spamming the same cameras and doors for 6 minutes.
I wonder if that might have to do with ADD/ADHD? I have ADHD and I went through hours upon hours of subnautica before I realized it had an icon that pops up in the corner if you were looking at something you haven’t scanned, I just tried to scan things I thought I hadn’t before which led to me pointlessly bringing out my scanner a bunch. My brain had entirely tuned it out automatically to the point I wasn’t consciously aware it was there at all.
Or maybe Mark and I are both just a little dumb, who knows

I think this is the first FNAF game I’ve ever seen actually depict that the animatronics have weight to them. The loud thumping was a really nice touch.
i think The Joy of Creation does this well too. the main thing i think of that game for is the loud, thumping footsteps as the animatronics charge toward you as well as how the animatronics scream when they kill the player
@@tiannacowan6999 I thought that was cool too. I enjoy that the ones in free roam don’t have screams. I always felt like the scream was just for the jumpscare aspect but in reality, they’re honestly fine without the scream. I especially like that they move so stiff and make noises due to lack of maintenance. Their movement is on par with actually 90s Chuck E Cheese animatronics if they had the ability to roam.
If we’re counting Roblox fan games, Forgotten Memories has them and is essentially the same as this but with a few twists. I recommend checking it out

I personally find this version of fnaf to be much scarier, because it really drives home the point that those are real, big animatronics that are actually looking for you. I don't know if I explained it well, but I really think that with the polish of the original this game could be a masterpiece.

I think adding some tasks around the place that force you to leave the office would be an interesting and tense way to make use of the free roam space
If they do that then they'd need to add some kind of barricades or other ways to stay safe from the robots while outside of the office.
How about adding an emergency power switch? So if you run out of power you get the risky choice to run to the basement and activate it
@@breather8758 that would certainly make better use of the Pizzeria's space and it would also help in easing up the added difficulty of having to walk to each door to close them compared to the original game where you simply had to sweep your mouse.

Ive always amused myself with the thought of having to sneak out after to avoid dying as if they were still roaming
But don’t they return to normal because day people would be starting their shifts and prepping for opening
I absolutely love the animation detail of the doors on the sides of the office being these death inducing hydraulic crushing metal doors. The way the ground shakes when they close is just perfect - because they're supposed to be this key life saving measure to make sure you're not mauled by the animatronics but sometimes they're just played off like decoration. Really weird thing I noticed, but it made me happy!
Not only that, but it justifies the dramatic power usage when having them closed. Having these titanic metal doors pushed down for long really feels like you're using a lot of power just for them to stay there

Fan made Fnaf games sometimes lack "spice" and feedback audio horror elements. But this one is really good! For the first time it actually shows how heavy the animatronics and the shutting doors are! This was well made. Also the little animation when Bonnie "wakes up". Also the concept of the building itself is something I would have hoped to see in the movie adaption.

This game is amazing. There are a few secrets in the game. For example there is a key you have to look for that leads you to a secret room. There you'll find something interesting. Also, if you reach that room there's a button on the right. Press it and go back to the office. The door behind you will open and you'll find something even more interesting.
That sounds really cool, where’d you figure that out?

this game honestly put it in perspective for me on how big the animatronics actually are. the way the door as to slam so hard is because those animatronics weigh at most a ton
Only the ones from sister location have a confirmed weight. Foxy being 290lbs and Freddy 350lbs. People have balled the fnaf 1 animatronics around 250lbs but these are taller than a lot of people thought the originals were.
I'd place these around 600. A ton being 2000 pounds, and half a car. I'd say these are a sixth of a car right?

In my opinion, cutting the jumpscare animation early adds a surprising amount to the experience. I've always felt that the traditional FNAF jumpscare deaths lingered a bit longer than they really needed to, and looked a bit silly when they start flailing around a bunch before showing the "game over" static. Cutting off half a second after the animation starts really underpins just how terrifying the animatronics are, as if to say "that's how long it would take them to kill you."
markiplier winked to the camera as if he was hinting to being in the fnaf movie but i can confirm. he was not in the fnaf movie :(
mariplier is one of the only people i can open a video and be consistently entertained no matter what video he is doing
