So If you have not been registered with the nursing council of your country yet
they'll still ask you for the name of your regulator you COULD register with. They'll then contact the regulator to confirm that your qualification would allow you to register with them to check if you meet the eligibility criteria. If your regulator is unable to confirm this, for example if you have not completed a registration examination, or maybe National service , they may not be able to accept your eligibility application.
I think I didn't express my question properly.
Wanted to ask if it is still possible to do all necessary steps including the CBT. Apply for the job, get the job and Certificate of Sponsorship.
Following that then do the whole visa application, air ticket then reach UK.
Can I still do the OSCE after he there?
You mentioned alot had changed so wanted to know if that plan is still possible a
Because am worried about finishing the CBT then have to go to Uk do the OSCE then move back to my original country? It's costly so wanted to know whether the original plan of finishing every step and do the OSCE after getting to the UK

"It's as if nurses in Switzerland earn a lot like in the USA, so it would be nice to invite a nurse from Switzerland herem ,I would like you to make a video about nursing in Switzerland and the UK.
Cost of living in Switzerland is higher so that explains why,if you go there you will make the money but cost of living 😢
Nanielle, thank you, ❤ you're the best 🎉
You're so welcome!
Thanks Nanelle 🎉🎉
You are so welcome!
EMGS my surest bet.

Thank you for this detailed video, very helpful. Could you please do a video on studying nursing in the UK at Masters degree level
hi dear here's a video on it ruclips.net/video/imeAuhuPeS4/видео.htmlsi=Ce-BSM_t6rTwFUbc
Weldone Nanelle ,thanks for always showing us a way to be a nurse in UK but pls how about red country issues
As always you never disappoint ❤ thank you for the info but then I'm hearing UK no longer give job offers especially to Nigerians and Ghanaians because their countries have been complaining of brain drain. Some people's CBT exams has even reached expiration without no offer. Please how true is this?
yes it's called red list i have a video on that. it has made it tougher . but what it only means is that you can't use an agency but can apply directly
@NanelleGriselda Yes ma, I'm talking of applying directly, The news I've been hearing lately is that UK no longer give Job offers, that they're people who've spent 2 years applying yet nothing.
@@NanelleGriselda please what's the difference between applying through an agency or directly?
I have a work visa but i haven't written CBT and done OSCE i was kind of stuck. Thank you for the information
How did you get the work VISA?
Thank you sis for your guidelines.
Plz at what point ll I complete my entire registration.
I have written my CBT and passed.
My Score in IELTS is not upto the required band score bur I hv started applying for job.,while preparing to write IELTS..
Am I doing the right thing?
I have passed the CBT and OSCE and the OET reading is the problem and the Care home I worked for do not have nurse to sign for the English proficiency.
Keep trying my dear, I'm in the same situations
First here
thank you
Thank you for this video as always... Over 2 years of following your channel and still no job... Ielts and cbt are now expired. Please where do i restart this process from?
Thanks for the video ❤️
Please I've passed my cbt and ielts and done the initial Nmc registration with £140 and I'm waiting for a sponsorship job
While waiting to get a job do I need to NMC final registration of £153 or wait till I get a job offer ?
EMG helped me passed my IELTS and CBT.......na job search oooooooo......Oh Lord help me get a job offer before June, my CBT will be 2yrs this year
Try the self sponsorship route
Please does ot mean, you don't necessarily need to write IELTS? Or before registration?
Thanks for the update 🎉❤
You are so welcome
Thanks for the update I thought ielt will not be involved in this?
depends on the country you trained
Please what about Ghana @@NanelleGriselda
Nanelle thank you so much i just watch this video. And i need some clerification. My wife did three years Diploma in midwifery. She have done Post basic nursing which is approximately 18month, according to what you side that the program must be up to three years. She have her RM/RN. Can she practice as a nurse in the Uk because she prefer nursing to midwifery. And also any update on nurses bring there depandant to the uk.thanks.
since her 3 year qualification was in midwifery i think it'll be easier for her. However I have seen people make the switch just by writing the CBT of the one she wants . so in her case writing CBT for Adult nurses instead of for midwifery . But i'll advise she emails Overseas. Enquiries@nmc-uk.org
This video is detailed. Thanks Nanelle! However, I heard you say that new grad nurses can let their schools certify that their qualification permits them to work in their homecountry. So, does this mean if I complete my Bsc. Nursing from KNUST for instance, pass all my NMC license exam papers but yet to even start my rotation, KNUST ALONE can certify for me? And I'll need NO verification from NMC Ghana unlike the fully registered nurses?
So If you have not been registered with the NMC yet
they'll still ask you for the name of your regulator you COULD register with. They'll then contact the regulator to confirm that your qualification would allow you to register with them to check if you meet the eligibility criteria. If your regulator is unable to confirm this, for example if you have not completed a registration examination, or maybe National service , they may not be able to accept your eligibility application.
Great, thanks !
But with regards to the ielts you can't use the ukvi to other countries
Nanelle, please what if you're a Physician Assistant who has completed National Service and wants to move to the UK as a nurse?. Isn't that one possible too?
are you qualified as a nurse in your country ?
@@NanelleGriselda as a physician assistant, not a nurse. In Ghana
@@McNYAMEwere you a nurse before diverting to become a PA? If yea then you can since you have a nursing license ,if no you can’t cos you will need a nursing license
Pls Nanelle, I thought Nigeria has been placed on redlist. Pls I need clarification. Thanks
Hello Nanelle
Hope you are well.
Firstly thank you for the update.
Wanted to ask if a nurse can still all the steps and finish the CBT, apply for job, get certificate of sponsorship and then move to UK. Can I do the OSCE from UK? Is that arrangement still possible
The OSCE is done in UK and yes you can still get COS but very difficult to get one now
This may be overlooked but I will say it regardless!
One of your videos made my dream come through while working on relocating to England!
God richly bless you @NanelleGriselda
awww which video is that ? So happy to hear this
Remember the one you stated to be truthful with previous visa denials.
I was denied a USA b1/b2 visa in 2018 while in Ghana
I had a friend go through my application and he had changed all that then I chanced on your video
So I had to correct all that to the Glory of God visa was approved and I relocated here successfully
I had this strong urge if I had not changed it I would have been denied because I had a strange dream it was denied before submitting
It’s somewhat a long story but I’m happy and grateful I binged watch most of your videos and took all the advice you gave.
God bless you and yours!
Thank you so much for this. My sister just completed her nursing degree back home but is not yet registered back home. Can she follow this steps to come work in the uk ? Will they need her to be a registered nurse back home?
they will need her to prove her qualification allows her to work back home. so her school can certify that. But sometimes having work experience on your cv is gold
Thanks for your time and effort in giving us these information.
Pls, i will like to ask if it's alright to study nursing or medicine in Nigeria before coming to uk or its better come over to uk to do the study. I will be awaiting your response pls.
Thanks.
if you can afford the fees in the uk ... then come study in the uk if you intend to work here in the future
@NanelleGriselda I'm actually making this findings for my son, I'm already in the UK working and I wish to him to come into medical line . I've actually thought about the high tuition fee and he's a dependent on my skilled worker visa , he's my first born but I don't know how to go about it, I have no one to advise me on which is the best way to go or do.
Pls, kindly help guide me on the best thing to do. The cost here is too high, I'm confused. I'm the only one working here
Pls, I will be expecting more info from you pls.
Thanks so much.
Please Nanelle for someone that wants to come to the UK through study route, Top up nursing degree, after the one year degree will IELTS be required to proceed with the NMC registration, the person already has CBT mental health and IELTS is expiring in October but she wants to use the study route since she couldnt get a job for almost a year.
why doesn't she come and sit for the osce instead? and email Overseas. Enquiries@nmc-uk for a pardon
Is it the UK IELTS or the regular IELTS
Do i have to pay the 140 pounds first b4 i do my oet and cbt or i can do my oet and cbt then start the process of making the first pay

Thank you so much, I want to understand something, so I can come to the UK to write the osce through self sponsorship while waiting to write the ielts? Or before taking the ielts?
Yes, absolutely
@NanelleGriselda thank you so much ma
Hi Nannelle, I’m doing the self sponsorship and I’m currently waiting for a decision on my visit visa. The first visa I applied was refused of which the initial date for my OSCE was 16th January. So due to this, I had to change my OSCE date. Unfortunately , my IELTS will expire on the 28th January,2025 and the available for the OSCE is 30th January,2025. Two days after my IELTS expire. Will I have to rewrite the IELTS please.
I’m a Ghanaian trained midwife
You might have to re-write. However I will advise you learn and do the exams. It can be overlooked. Just pray.
@@phan1005 okay please. Thank you
contact Overseas.Enquiries@nmc-uk.org via email and ask for a pardon let's see . make sure you send proof of the refusal etc and all necessary details
@Sandy_Cobbs
You just have to upload your IELTS to your portal and pay the registration fee of £153, if you upload it before the expiration

Thank you for this insightful video.

Hi Steph, keep applying and do not focus on England only. Try the other 3 countries. All the best
do you apply to all parts of the uk and to private institutions as well. put your Cv as well on all these job platforms . Trust me you will get a job
@@NanelleGriselda I have been doing that. Maybe, if you don’t mind, you can do a video on that.
With all the platforms and the trust outside England.
I tried Northern Ireland and as part of the application, I was asked NI (was a required field). So, had to discontinue the application.
Where are you located?@@stephanieagyeiwaa2222

Thanks Nanelle for such a well detailed video. I cleared my ielts and cbt in march 2024 and I have been applying for jobs through trac.jobs but I have been receiving negative responses from trusts. What should I do?

have you considered the self sponsorship route ?
