In flames have been around for well over 20 years. They are a lot lighter than they used to be, now they mostly churn out catchy melo-death metal like this one... but its still damned good, most of it anyway. They can do some real stinkers :) Some of the classics, Trigger, The Quiet Place, Cloud Connected... I think their biggest hit was Only for the Weak. But they do have a huge range, if you try The Chosen pessimist or A New Dawn, those are real masterpieces. If you want to go back to "old" In Flames as most fans label them, try December Flower, Episode 666, Clayman or Pinball Map, Jotun... so many great songs from back in the 90's.
In Flames are an Swedish Melodic Death metal band even if their newer material isnt Melo Death exaktly 🙂 their older stuff is sublime though 👌 If you want more Swedish Melo Death metal i suggest you reacts to Arch Enemy. They are an big band and they have an female lead singer/growler. Angela Gossow who is their former singer is an beast 🙂 Songs like Nemesis, Bloodstained Cross and The World is Yours are very good.
