    Hey Eric, love following your content mate, After you have completed a drawing would you then scan this for presentation to client within something like layout or photoshop? and how do you go about making alterations when the client wants something changed, would you need to re-draw a lot of it or do you have a seperate process for this?

    • @EricArneson
      @EricArneson  4 года назад

      This drawing would be used for an early concept level presentation. After this i will digitally draft the plan so its easier to edit and print for documentation and presentation.

      @@EricArneson ok nice one! I guess you would digitally draft into photoshop or sketchup right?

    Hi Eric, give me your honest opinion. I'm a 45 yo Veteran and my GI Bill ( benefit) is about to expire. I need to use it or lose it so, I was looking into landscape Architect degree......good or bad idea? At the end of the day I want to be able to work with contractors on designs for their projects. I'm not sure if I want to work for a big company but more of a small business idea ( landscape business). Based on your experience, what do you think? I live in North Carolina so plenty of labor available and plant/ landscape supplies. I'm just lost!.....by the way, your work is awesome!

      That is a great question. So in order to get a Landscape Architecture degree, you would need to commit about 4-5 years of schooling. For your case, I would recommend taking some classes in horticulture, digital drafting and business admin maybe at a local Junior / Community College. After gaining some relevant skills I would recommend getting some on hands experience as an intern or entry-level position at a local design firm. Some firms will only look for people with a degree but some will just look at your skills and portfolio. I hope that helps! And best of luck with the next chapter in your life!

    Are you a student or professional?
    Plus, I wanted to ask that how long does a student of architecture uses thesse circle templates ? Or furniture templates? Are they worth investing? Great eork tho.

    • @EricArneson
      @EricArneson  4 года назад +1

      I am a professional. It all depends on how you design. I like to hand draw when I begin I design, I think it helps be more creative than digital drafting at conceptual levels. I still use my circle template and always will.

    hello .. thank you very much for your efforts.. can you learn us how we use 3dmax after doing this painting.. i mean if you can apply this sample on 3dmax program

    • @ekatlaterrible
      @ekatlaterrible 4 года назад +2

      Lamdscape architects don't use 3DSMax that much... At least not from what I have seen. It's mosstly hand sketches, hand-drawn or AutoCad plans and photoshop ambiance montages...

    • @EricArneson
      @EricArneson  4 года назад +1

      I don't know of anybody that uses 3DMax for landscape design.
      Landscape architects typically use sfotware like Autocad, Sketchup, Vectorworks, Lumion, Photoshop etc for drawing creation.
