I lived in Akoka and attended St Finbarrs in Akoka. Sowore was one of the names that gave the military problems. Omo these guys were so hard and always protesting against Military guys that before the Military govt of Babangida makes a directive that they know will cause unrest...they will station 3 armoured tank outside UNILAG, station one at Pako bus stop...and station one at Harvey Rd (near Atan cemetry)...One also at Iwaya (Unilag back gate). to block off all possible exits and entries into Unilag 🤣🤣🤣. Still this did not deter these guys.
Unilag student Union will come out and protest on St Finbarrs Road....They'll use the thick bush between Unilag and Finbarrs and come out to St Finnbarrs, Akoka high or Oluwole primary school then they will make their way to St Finbarrs road to carry placards and taunt/throw stones at the military. Mopols and Army will chase these guys into our school ...some will run into FCE, some will scale the fence and jump into St Finbarrs and Akoka High school and they will go and hide in the bush.
I remember once when I was in JSS2...By 10 'o clock, see Unilag guys scaling the fence from the bush into the Junior block of St Finbarrs ...they will beat up our security baba and make their way out of St Finbarrs gates... then next thing, everybody was running helter skelter back towards the bush fence and making their way to the bush MOPOLs everywhere shooting tear gas looking for them in our classes. These crazy guys will still be throwing stones from the bush at them 🤣🤣🤣.
Omo those were scary times, but those times made St Finbarrs guys hardened.
I remember the NUGA games in 1998. I was a senior in SS2. After school we would go to Unilag to go and watch matches.
Sowore is a freedom fighter and deserves to be the president of Nigeria. He is a fighter.
This interview did not do justice to the information that Sowore could have divulged in this interview. Please honest bunch, before you start an interview...prepare questions. Dont just ask stupid impromptu questions.

Sowore is from my generation, so I’m very familiar with him and his cause. I have a great deal of respect for him. While he may never become the President of Nigeria, his commitment has been unwavering.
He has consistently stayed true to his mission. In fact, he was one of the pioneers of digital investigative journalism, exposing corruption within the Nigerian police force. I was deeply disappointed by how he was treated by the younger generation during the End SARS protests. Sowore is genuine and has been advocating for a better Nigeria for as long as I can remember, dating back to the Babangida and Abacha regimes.
I hope this interview will enlighten and educate the younger generation. I wish Sowore all the best and looking forward to meeting him at some point.

He cannot win by being an activist. He needs to evolve as a politician. He needs his party to be in every state, local government, and ward. Now is the time. What Sowore said about the "secret memo" on igbos is 100% true. My parents poisoned the minds of my siblings and I about igbos, cross river and calabar (they were usually seen as the same). Spoke so negatively about them that i was conditioned with a bias even till today. "Don't marry an igbo, they love money, they will kill for money, they will introduce their sugar dadday as their uncle or boyfriend as their cousin, don't do business with them because they will cheat you"...and so on.
Till today, i am subconsciously biased to igbos in certain aspects. I am consciously checking myself to be a better person because we need to love all tribes equally. We are all Nigerians. We need to do better as individuals so we don't pass this bias to our children. Lets end this cycle of bias, bigotry and hatred.

Politicians are unendingly, exploiting this division thereby, widening the gap and the more it widens, the more difficult it is for us to fight them and until we can subdue them, we'll never witness any paradigm shift...

This podcast is one in a million eye opening and I think i have to pen this dpwn here. Since 2016 that I found this man Sowore my thinking about the political activities and the State of Nigeria changed automatically, I became liberated within one week of watching series of his videos and interviews. I was one of the few diaspora’s who faugh vigorously to expose Sowore to the Nigeria people and urge them to vote him massively during the 2019 election. Not minding the insult and backlash, I proceeded into every nook and cranny of the social media convincing Nigerians to follow Sowore and forget Atikulated or fall for the Buhari Next Level, but got disappointed at the end.
Though I didn’t stop there, during the 2023 election I did same. But, this time I was physical in the country spreading and sharing the parties manifesto and making Nigerians to understand why they should ignore these big guys and follow Sowore, but got disappointed again.
Sowore’s intelligence is topnotch, his vision and passion for the Nigeria project can’t be measured. He is selfless and will make an incorruptible leader. He is the only presidential candidate who has come out with an innovative ideas I believe can disrupt the cabals and bring Nigeria to it glory.
He has said it several times that when he becomes president he will enforce the laws, because lawlessness in Nigeria has lead us into bribery Nation, bribery has lead us to corruption nation, corruption has pushed us to shadow economy, shadow economy is bringing us loads of crime, and crime will lead us to societal collapse that will lead us to loss of cultural identity etc.
Sowore has that special abilities to free people from any type of mental and self-imposed bondage, he is a leader and not a ruler ✊🏼.

My Dad in 2019 voted for Sowore and said he was the only one who could change Nigeria the way he wants... I being carried away with the social media hype for Fela Durotoye couldn't understand him then.. Until in 2023, campaigned online and voted for him, but una be dey look me like who no serious, calling him SUG president, who isn't experienced in governance because of una bandwagon Obidient fellowship... I HOPE WE BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND MORE NOW.. THANKS HONEST BUNCH FOR DOING THE MOST... I love this season 6 series, yall doing the Lord's work.. Bring in Big Bird Kuti again or Femi Falana next for more of these 🙏🏾

Make e go win his LGA first. Sowore is a fraud. He will come every 4 yrs to raise campaign money to loot. He’s yet to account for the monies raised for the past elections.

I can believe I could stay awake to watch this incredible podcast. I have been hearing about them but haven't taken interest until today.
Sowore have really made so much sacrifice for the good of this country. I will be watching this podcast henceforth. Great interview.

I’ve literally watched this episode like three times over, something I’ve never done before, and while I have so much reviews to make about this great man, I think it’s best I appreciate the honest bunch crew for such a great platform to showcase great people that we hitherto didn’t really think much about or perhaps we neglected.
It’s clear that most of us just wrote this man off because of sentimental and ethic even religious reasons but to honest, this man is screaming PRESIDENT MATERIAL!!
He is young and very articulated!
Very knowledgeable even with great knowledge of history!
He is very healthy for that seat of the president and I wish that we all pour our focus and support on him in 2027!
    God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬

You think those crooks will allow an election that will bring in this man? Nigeria is structurally corrupt. You can only penetrate it if you destroy the faulty structure

Please stop it. What leadership experience does he have to lead 200million people please? Dino melaye would make a better President than this guy. It's not about SUG president and Revolution Now.
