- I got hired as a presenter with Didga and Boomer at the inaugural "Cat Lovers Show" being held in Melbourne, a thousand miles from my home. I'll have to drive because I'm not going to fly the cats having to check them in like a piece of luggage and all the high stress involved with flying. Unfortunetely here in Australia they don't allow animals in the cabin. No worries as the cats love to travel in the car, Plus we have a few sponsors to help cover the higher costs by driving. 15 days round trip to Melbourne via Sydney, We had no idea what to expect at the show, which turned out to be amazing, over 20k tickets were sold. Didga and Boomer were treated like rock stars. Hope you like my first ever VLOG style video upload.

I honestly was concerned for the kitties travelling, but they totally mastered it! Im sure this took allot of planning and dollars! Well done. Im a human and not the best traveller but even I felt relaxed watching this!

What had happened?
this was so fun to watch! it still amazes me, how calm these two are with the biggest crowds around them and having been away from home for such a long time. would have been great to see a scene at the end, how they acted when they finally got back home :)

Thanks, I didn't encourage the excessive meowing that Bengals are notorious for, so he meows but not as much as most. I have tips on how to decrease meowing on my patreon page

Reading you response made me realise that I’ve encouraged it. I talk to them, sometimes in what I think is their language ☺️ which I’m sure just sounds like gibberish to them. We have two Bengals, an Abyssinian and a Ginger and white pick up (very similar to Digga but ginger instead of tabby). The Bengals always announce themselves and talk a lot.
I’m delighted you are so well loved. Disfavor deserves to be a star! I’d better get back to work with my young cats, they’ve only learned High five 🖐 and Sit so far.

Just watched the video demonstrating the unbelievably talented and intelligence of Didga. I have owned a cat or two for mist of my non-military life. Ive seen cats do some incredibly intelligent things. Some acts as a solution to problems and some that are “trained.” But Didga is without doubt the most disciplined and human-bonded cat I have ever seen. You have quite a wonderful menagerie of friends. They are lucky to have you, as you are lucky to have them.
Another great video to make my day! Just took in 2 pregnant mom's from the barn and between the two of them they have 11 babies delivered one week apart! Didga is swimming in water and I'm swimming in kittens!
Fantastic, Robert! I'm glad you had sponsors to help with the trip. Enjoyed the travelogue, the maps, enjoyed seeing the kits romping and being cool like Didg' swimming and climbing on the driftwood. Totally understand having to drive rather than fly. I don't think most people see how stressful it is for an animal in cargo. I'd bet the slit in the mattress was to hide something like gun, drugs, money. For what it's worth, it was probably cleaner inside the mattress than it was on the carpeting...
ah, difficult choice - watch the vid or read the text...lol... fabulous either way. D & B seemed to really love travelling.

Wonderful to see happy, stimulated cats performing to their abilities au naturale i.e. not dressed up like icky dolls, and obviously enjoying themselves outdoors (supervised)! With all they're learning and their busy lives, they'll not miss destructive hunting and will feel loved and fulfilled. You're doing much to improve the keeping of cats as pets to those who see them in a less favourable light. Congratulations, and thank you!

Love it!😍 Didga resembles my cat Irmeli that I had for 20 years...so I almost feel like I see her again when I see Didga, makes my eyes a bit watery...Love of my life! Love both Didga and Boomer too! I wish I could have trained Irmeli to come with me on adventures like this!❤ Now I'm a co-guardian to my parents cat Lillan and I wish that I could atleast go out with her on a leash! She is about 11 years old and we haven't been able to do that...I tried with her best treats but the end result is that she started to hide even when I took out her treats!! So I don't know how to do it now...
