Listening to it again I heard a very faint background voice. Higher in pitch too. I'm not too surprised, after the writer of the song, David Draiman, intended to place that effect. The song portrays the night as an entity, which according to David envelopes you. When I heard that secondary voice, it felt like I was witnessing a full on invasion of a person's mind, possession if you will. I like it.
