    Played with the original double bass bow of Domenico Dragonetti. He probably performed the world premiere of this piece in 1824 with this bow. And also played without cello endpin like it was common in these times.

    I read once, that Dragonetti probably played the cello in the first performance, the double bass was played by his pupil Philip Joseph Salomons, who was „a gifted amateur double bass player“.
