- The Cartier LOVE Bracelet is, without a doubt, one of the most successful and iconic pieces of fine jewelry. Even if you only scratched the surface of designer jewelry or any sort of luxury goods, chances are you came across a LOVE bracelet.
When Cartier launched the Small Model (SM) LOVE Bracelet, it gave customers the choice of size for the first time since its inception in 1969.
While the regular size (a.k.a. medium size or medium model (MM)) has a width of about 6.1 mm, the small model (SM) has a width of about 3.65 mm which is roughly 60% of the width of the medium model.
The starting price of the plain small model in the US is $4,050 compared to $6,300 for the regular size.
Which of these is right for you depends on a few factors such as your wrist size and personal style, if you layer it with other pieces or wear it by itself, and of course your budget.

Love the look of the 2 together
Slightly controversial tip: I wanted the love bracelet to commemorate something very special that I never wanted to forget (so having it on ALL the time was perfect for me), but hesitant to spend so much money on something that might drive me crazy, a good friend bought me a "super fake" sort of as a joke. It was just exactly the right size for my wrist (16) and an exact copy down to the tiniest detail so I knew it would be great to test drive. I wore it on my left hand behind my tank watch which helps to protect it and keep it from being annoying. When it inevitably tarnished and the idea of taking it off made me so sad, I knew I was ready to spend the money on the real thing. I'm not suggesting that everyone run out and support the counterfeit market, but it really helped me to know that this was the right thing and that it would be money well spent. With current pricing being equivalent to a small used car, it's not an insignificant investment. While I like the convenience of the smaller version, I don't plan to take it off often and know that the regular is the right size for me.

Thank you for such a detailed review! Have you or anyone else had any troubles with the screws unloosening on their own often (for the regular size one)? I'm concerned that the screws will unloosen on their own and cause the bracelet to fall off!
I love LOVE Bracelet...so I got all three colors in thin version: yellow, pink, white with 6 diamonds(FYI bracelet is much brighter and whiter(?) than without diamonds). The dillema is always there. To get original size or thinner size 😞 I am a very slim person so when I tried on the original it looked too much on me. But when I see it on others it looks so good~! I guess you can't have it all. 😂

I have been watching all these videos before deciding how I want my stack. Because of my body frame most likely the regular love will be better and I get that for the price you get more gold etc. Watching all videos I finally realize that I will feel more comfortable with the cuff now because I would be able to take off. I am not sure I can handle having a bracelet on me all the time. I wish you had a cuff video 🙈. I’ve had my my bracelet for 3 years. I recommend getting the classic Love bracelet. It not only looks better, but from a price comparison vs amount of gold vs size/weight, it doesn’t make sense to get the skinny one

But not to the point where the Bracelet has fallen off… I rarely wear mine though bc it’s uncomfortable to sleep with… my now ex GF, her bracelet though fell off a lot. Here def has a defect in the mechanics of it bc that shouldn’t happen

I will DEFINITELY try different sizes before making a decision, it is The Most important part of the purchase! Regarding sizes, definitely try size 16 & 17. Depends on your preferred fit, hopefully one fits perfect!

I quite like the design on the small size love bracelet, and I find the hinge opening a very practical & useful mechanism, you can easily add or remove the bracelet by yourself. I have not experienced any problems with the classic screw closure on the classic - regular size. However, it is an area of concern for many, but I'd say it's not a common issue. You can always take it back to the brand with issues that come up, they are always willing to offer assistance.💖

I had the regular size and it had so many problems with the screws coming loose. Cartier tried to fix it but didn't do a good job so they offered me a credit. I ended up getting a the tank Louis watch. I miss my love bracelet and will be considering the small love or the cuff. For the convenience. could you please review the cuff!!! :) not many people on RUclips talk about it... thank you love your videos
I got myself the SM as I think its more suitable for men. Major regrets. The mechanism constantly opens. To the point where I've looked at my wrist and noticed a half open bracelet hanging off it. I'm so scared to wear it now, I barely do. Had the whole mechanism replaced by Cartier and the problem still persists. Amazing how they can make flaws like that. Great looking bracelet though..

The Regular size love bracelet is RG & the thin was YS. RG does tend to oxidize over time, hence the color change.

It sounds like you have a dainty wrist, 17 would’ve been a good match (I hope) and I wouldn’t go bigger than that, as it might have more room to wiggle down the arm?

I'd say 17 is the more common size, but the collection starts with 15 or even smaller.
Received from Cartier Client Relations: 'In regard to your enquiry, as you would wear a size 18cm Love bracelet, we would recommend sizing up by one size to a 19cm for the Love Cuff bracelet. The reason for this is because the latter runs two sizes too small, when compared to your wrist size, and therefore, one size too small when compared to one of our Love bracelets'.

I have a small Love with 6 diamonds and a Reg JUC with diamonds and want to add a plain Love in between and I just can’t decide between the Reg or small one because my heart wants the Reg but I also like to take my jewelry off, though I don’t wear them everyday at all so I wanted to ask your opinion and also is the Reg the same actually thickness as the small, would they line up perfectly?
