This episode breaks my heart. Sometimes adults don’t realize how words or action could affect kids. If we do love the kids, is FOR THEM that the adults problems should be kept apart from them. Lynette quit to her selfishness and gives Penny the freedom to let herself feel in order to trust and lover others. With time, she will realize that she deserves to be loved.
imo while it was selfish, it wasnt completely unwarranted. tom leaving jane, was in a way, leaving the family. before the divorce was even set into stone, he started his relationship with jane way too soon. and while that wasn't really a problem, he started bring her into family matters too early.
I wish my parents did that with me and their marriage problems, I guess they didn’t love me as much as I thought. Well soon I don’t need them I don’t need them……. But I still want them in my life But I guess I never get what I want
Lynette and Tom were separated, he got himself a new girlfriend and Lynette initially turned her daughter against the gf and she didn't want to spend time with her dad.
