Such an interesting idea to take Michelangelo as a transitional wonder-grabbing-leader, would've never thought about taking him without any happy faces at my disposal :D
Seeing the close results throughout this season, shows that every little decision can make the difference between winning and losing these high level games. Multimedia and movies fit kinda well to you making videos and sharing them so we can enjoy them 😊
The playing time can differ quite a bit. A Superblitz game on the App normally takes around 60-90 minutes. For those async tournament games it depends a lot on how often a player is online per day. Normally they will take 2-4 weeks, but outliers are possible when there are especially fast or slow players involved.
I think hate drafting the Conmon (if I understand your question correctly) wasn´t necessary in this position, as my opponents already had Theocracy and the beginning of age III wasn´t that far away, meaning that a hate draft could be punished with an early age III government form reveal, as my opponent had pleanty of science.
Seems like opponent basically had something to hatedraft every turn this game, but did very little of denying anything. The Hollywood was the pinnacle of this, useless to him and monstrous 64pts for you 😮 Theocracy must be one of the worsr cards in the game, unless it happens to come at very niche perfect circumstances.. 4 CA is unacceptable for a card that costs 6 science, happy face is usually a trap that causes problems later on and other stuff is not worth mentioning. Id take Louvre over this.
Didn't we see a game earlier in this tourney where early Theocracy was very good? It's maybe more situational than average, but it can be strong. I mean, the very top players still play it! The play seems to be that if the deck is moving quickly, +1 strength can win a lot of early events, and compared to building a temple or arena, the happy face can allow rapid development (both military and civil) because you're not investing a pop for it. At the least, it's saving the food for the pop, plus maybe an additional food, plus the civil action to create the pop, plus the civil action to build a happy face building.... Think of it like a Warfare with benefits and the cost is maybe pretty reasonable. For both cards, if the early military push doesn't pay dividends, then it will look worse (but still not necessarily bad).
I think while not being a good fit under every circumstance, the Theocracy has it´s place where it is valuable, especially in 2 player games. Compared to Warfare the Theocracy offers a lot more benefits. But you are right that staying on 4 CA is not really a good option, so the Theocracy is especially valuable when you have other CA sources, for example Code of Laws. Even better it is when you have additional CA from wonders, for example Pyramids, Forbidden City or Kremlin, because then you can still get an Code of Laws on top of it and have a Theocracy with 6+ CA´s which can be quite powerful. The happy face from Theocracy should not be underestimated and can give an advantage at the first part of the game. Being able to put an additional population somewhere can be quite strong. I at the moment have a 2p game ongoing in Royal League, where the Theocracy was a significant part of an early strength push, giving + 1 strenght, +1 MA (which was very important to get) and the ability to build an additional swordsman with the Great Wall, which gave my opponent no chance to even nearly match my strength. Now it is the end of age II and the game is almost decided because of the damage done to the opponent via strength events and a war over tech.
Congratulations ) Very strong performance from you. And sadly not so strong from St4nkk. Those leaders pick ....were somewhat strange. Non of them produced any economic value in the end. Zizka was able to produce 1 strength and 2 culture for some time. 4th MA was almost never used. Cook helped to win several colonies, but maybe he was be able to win them anyway. Also those colonies wasn't the best. And Pierre was somewhat OK, but not that strong, having already 4 culture with Cook. I don't believe in hate-draft from you, cause Pierre was definitely not scary , if you take him and replace Darvin. Especially when Multimedia is on the card row.
For those who didn´t make it to the very end of the video: Check out Eepogi´s channel here: ruclips.net/channel/UCqYLI5aXO66bMq-cXMhYNPw
Thanks for the shout-out! This was a strong game, good calls on picking Himeji and playing efficiently vs st4nkk's low CA count

OMG OMG OMG! This will be decisive!
Oh, my those super close semi-finals groups are insane xD
Tremble mortals and despair! Doom is coming to this world! You will see Weidenbaum do an indisputable mistake this game!
Go get'em, champ!
Superb game! I learnt a lot from watching this one.
Congrats, well done! I have really enjoyed your videos! Looking forward to the finals.
Another showdown with e5 in the final. Let's go!
Congratulations.
And a a bit random question, over how much time is a game roughly played?

THat...
Hollywood though....
Why you did take the other government form i age two for hate draft
