I have kids here in the US one was born in the Philippines in 2000 the other one was born in the US. My first one was 2 yo when we relocated in the US. Our life in the US started hard but eventually, while my kids are growing up, we bought a house that they enjoyed. Our issues in life started when my eldest became teenager. There were a lot of misunderstanding from me as a mom and my growing teenager. With the help of family therapy, we both learned that there were language barrier between our kids and us as their parents. We were able to have a solution to that issue by apologizing and promising each other to discuss things out maturely (from each party) and no judgements. I am saying that everything can be worked out by discussing the issue calmly and understand each other’s concern. If you need help expressing yourself, pray and seek professional help.
