Yeah... Miyas sweep-pick/tap seems to have become one of her trademarks.
If you look as early as "Shadowmaker" she was already doing it.
She doesn't use it very often, but it's very noticeable when she does it.
Incredible, that LOVEBITES are *already writing music history* . They still are so young! *These ladies belong to the best Metal musicians of all time* . And they still have most of their life(time) ahead of them. (Well, hopefully!) What a privilege to see music history in the making! As I often say, LOVEBITES and their vibe and rise strongly remind me of the rise of Iron Maiden to global fame: Songwriting, rehearsals, studio, touring. Wait until Memorial for the Warrior Souls comes out on August 28th. Haruna has a drum solo in it. Saw it already when they showed the concert on RUclips on August 12th, not archived.
Great review as always Tim. Asami said in an interview that Haruna is the one who learns the lyrics first, and Haruna said she sings while she beats her drums to get relaxed to save energy for the rest of the show.
How interesting considering Haruna seems to know the least amount of English of all the band members (well, until Fami joined that is).

LOVEBITES has added a new masterpiece. Dynamic Voice's ASAMI has a wonderful belt. MIDORI & MIYAKO is speedy and the guitar technique is also top level. And the accurate and wonderful rhythm team of HARUNA of Fami & Drums, the bass guitar that supports them. I repeat this song many times🤘😎

About Haruna solo, there was a drum solo in this show just a couple songs before Soldier, of around two minutes of Haruna. The Bluray comes out on the 28th, so i bet someone will upload it a bit later.
SSS is one of the all time greatest heavy metal songs IMO. Not only is it fast, but it is hard and heavy too - thanks to Haruna's drums. Love Fami's bass solo and Haruna's solo too. Asami shows off her strongest metal vocals in this one, with amazing power. And of course M&M knock it out of the park with their solos.

Fami had some exposure on the platform on her first life performance of "The Hammer Of Wrath". As you mentioned, she had her moments at the begin and end of the OMVs "Judgement Day" and "Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'Em Down)" (begin only), but also a spicy bass line in "Judgement Day", if you hear it with head phones.

So glad you give Haruna, plenty of love. She very often gets overlooked due to the M & M show. I believe she is the girl in the red shoes story. However instead of not being able to stop dancing, she can't stop playing double bass kicks. 😀 Another thing for me about Haruna, is how can she play those drums for an hour plus and not raise even a hint of sweat or look like she is tired? Sometimes I think she is a highly advanced Japanese robot, masquerading as a human. 😀
