Ed here! My show was 2 days ago and it was a BLAST! I was Ed, a lioness, and a zebra! I loved the show so much and i look foward to seeing the cast next year for the next play!

Scar here! Rehearsals start in a week, and we preform in January! Really nervous to rehearse this song, seeing as I’m a girl, an alto, and also have NEVER played a villain. Super hyped though!

sugarfr0g I am auditioning for Scar, have also never played a villain, also really nervous, and also a girl! I’m a soprano, but I think this song sounds just as cool in my range as it does in tenor and alto. Good luck on your performance. My rehearsals start in January, and I’m so nervous. Looking at this from a director’s point of view, I would cast me as Nala, because they know I’ve done characters like her. I don’t really want to play Nala though, because she is so much like other characters, I want to expand my character experience. Anyways, if you actually read this comment, thanks for listening to me rant.

Oh my gosh. I’m going to do this play soon, and I wanted to hear this song because I want to audition for Scar. This would be a really hard role for me to perform, but I think it might be able to do it! I’ve never been a villain, and I want to try.

I play Shenzi and I thought id hate it but I actually really like it! At first I thought Shenzi was just like comic relief but I’ve been able to turn her into more of a villain than just comical. My costume is Frickin sick too I wear like a bunch of leather and spike collars and stuff

Hey! Shenzi here, I am so happy for the role I got, I get to sing and talk in this song. This is my first real school play, all the ones I’ve done before were ones where we just sang and spoke into microphones. No choreography. But this is one where we run around and March.
