Molly, you did an amazing tribute to one of the most underrated lands at Disney. I actually avoided this video for a few days because I didn't want to be sad about it closing. My now adult children, who will still say Dinosaur is there favorite ride at Animal kingdom, loved this land and we have so many great memories of it. We live in Wisconsin, so I'm sure we won't be there before the closing. Thank you for making me feel like I had one last chance in Dinoland.

I admire your positivity but this is not the way -by ridding of beloved rides/lands such as splash, rivers of America, dinoland etc. Disney of old cared about the details, theming and what these attractions meant to their parks, the Disney of new doesn’t care.

Probably won't be read by many but I just want to share my love of dinosaur land. Went in 2021 for the first time. Cute little area that we spent way too much time in. Loved the appeal of a carnival that never left. Nicest cast member ever when I told her I wanted to get into pin trading gave me a dozen starter pins and I've been a collector ever since. Nice memories, hope other people had as nice a time as I did. Change is good, but it's okay to be sad too.

I’ve always loved dinoland so much! Little 8 year old me was so fascinated by it when I visited AK for the first time ever, and when the McDonald’s tie in was all over the place, it was even better. I always love exploring dinoland and I even rope dropped Dinosaur before solely to be able to be in an empty Dinoland and take in every detail. I’m going to miss this land so very much, but I’m so happy we have a tribute to it in the form of a Molly Nerding Out Passion Project Video.

I don’t comment much but I was a former cast member and Stilt Walker at DAK for the Mickeys Jammin Jungle Day Parade. I learned how to walk in 6ft stilts around the park and Dinoland was one of the places we learned due to the different floor textures. It holds a special place in my heart and I was emotional with you. Thank you for doing this video. It brought back amazing memories ❤

Oh Molly, why is it every time you get emotional in a video, you make me cry? I can totally empathize with your feelings about your emotional attachments to certain rides, attractions & other aspects of the Disney parks. I cry every time I walk into Disneyland or the Magic Kingdom & I always get sad when Disney changes certain things in the parks. Disney has had a huge impact on millions of people’s lives & it’s always hard to accept the change. But as Walt said, the parks will never be completed & new things will always be on the horizon. I love ya Molly & from one Disney adult to another, I’m sending you a big teary hug! 🥰

Thank you for this amazing video of Dinoland USA. I learned so much from your excellent guided tour the significance of all the things we had seen over the years. We ride Dinosaur and eat at Restaurantosaurus on every trip to Animal Kingdom, which is on average every two years. We all laughed loudly at the preshow on Dinosaur this time, with the lax security of the computer program and all repeated "We're In!!" Our family are huge dinosaur buffs. I took a picture with the replica of Sue. Yes, do go see the original in Chicago. We loved riding triceratops spin and Primeval Whirl, and all the other attractions in the land. I've always admired the paintings in Restaurantosaurus, and glad to learn the background from your commentary. We remember the McDonalds sponsorship and eating at the McDonalds, playing in the Boneyard, and riding Dinosaur using child swap our first visit, and seeing the ride switch some of the theming when the movie Dinosaur came out. We have explored ourselves before kids, and then with the kids as they grew up, every part of Dinoland USA from the time one son was 18 months old and I was pregnant with the other son, to our last trip this April with the kids 24 and 26 years old. We said our goodbyes this May 2024 to Dinoland USA by riding Dinosaur a few times, ate in Restaurantosaurus, I took lots of pictures, and we all said it will be sorely missed on our next trip to Animal Kingdom in 2026. We hope the new land will bring as good memories to the next generations as DinoLand USA has brought to us.

Aww! You are making ME cry! I did the international program in 2000, the golden age of Dinoland and the year that "dinosaur" came out in theatres and am nostalgic about this land as well. I'll never forget getting Mcdonald's chicken nuggies at restaurantosaurus far too often in that year LOL, Even recently, bringing my niece and nephews to the park, they LOVED Chester's and Hester's- I had never given it the time of day before and it was so awesome to see them crush it at the games and win those cute as heck plushes! I'll have to hit up my sisters to make sure those toys are put aside for posterity as they will be extinct soon too! Thanks for the touching tribute:)

Our family has such a soft spot for Dinoland as well. We absolutely love Chester & Hesters - it's our favorite gift shop in all of WDW. And we have a lot of fond memories of Primeval Whirl. We had to wait a few years for our youngest to be tall enough to ride it, and he absolutely was beyond excited to get on that ride when he was finally tall enough. We ended up riding it late a night right before close and got to stay on it and ride it a total of three times in a row. That's been several years ago now and my kids still talk about that. I feel like Dinoland is especially fun to experience at night - just seems really nostalgic with all the carnival lights. I just love it and we will for sure be sad to see it go.

As a very cowardly kid, Dinoland was my favorite land in Animal Kingdom because it was the one land in the park where I was brave enough to ride all the rides back when Pandora was Camp Mickey and Minnie. Dinosaur became one of my favorite rides at the resort and when a friend told me it was rumored to close last October, we made a visit and that trip got me back into Disney after almost a decade. I'm really glad Dinosaur will last the new year and even though I'm sad about the land being replaced, I stand by that change is necessary to keep the magic fresh and that the imagineers will take good care of the space

Love your outfit! Would love to find the ears and shirt! Thanks for memories and dedication to a beloved area of Animal kingdom! A favorite of my now grown children as well! It will be greatly missed by this family! Thanks Molly!

Leave it to Molly to make me sad and nostalgic for a land I sometimes overlook. But also thank you for reminding me of the good memories I have from this land when visiting with my grandparents when I was little

We loved Dinoland when we visited. Glad we had an opportunity to enjoy that part of the Park ❤

On my first trip to Disney when I was a little girl, I was super into dinosaurs and I loved this park so much. We went in the early stages of the park and I remeber the Donald’s breakfast version of restaurantosuaras VIVIDLY. I specifically remeber Goofy proposing to my mom, and shortly after that him and Mickey getting into an altercation. Like the castmates in the costumes were actually fighting. Both fists and chairs were thrown. And guests were “quietly” escorted out of the building. Obviously not the vibe Disney wants, but still somewhat iconic. I also remeber riding Dinosuar and being TERRIFIED. Like crying trying to duck my head under the seat scared. On our ride photo, it was our family and just the back of my white shirt as I was bent over as much as I could trying to hide. Also, an iconic moment in this vacation. Recently I took my own kids and I’m so glad we got to say goodbye and let them experience Dinoland as well, I hope it lives on in someway

What a great video! We have always loved this land hubby won a little dino for me on our first trip. Our son loved the Bone Yard, and so much detail! I loved reading all the silly bits from the grad students. Thank you for such a knowledgeable tour. One of your greatest strengths is showing how much these parks mean to you. Please let us know if you won the big dinosaur!! 🧡🩷🩵

I'm going to miss Dinoland as well. I have great memories of taking my son when he was about 4, it was Christmastime and the music was going, we saw the characters, my son played the carnival games and we won some plushies, we were dancing. Going to miss it, Molly! 💕
