You forgot to even name Warrior Nun. Mentioned both Umbrella Academy and Daredevil during its slot, but not the name of the show you were actually talking about. It's no wonder people think SR is a joke.
Luke, thank you elaborating because I too had no clue what the name of the show with the nun was, in bed with pneumonia, I now know what to binge watch.
Yeah, aside from the Pitch Meeting series, which I love, every time I watch a Screen Rant video, I get angry about the factual and grammatical errors they always have.
1- Lucifer 2- Preacher 3- The boys 4- Umbrellla Academy 5- Warrior Nun 6- Snowpiercer 7- The end of the f***ing world 8- Stumptown 9- I, zombie 10- Wynnona Earp I just saved you 10 minutes 👍
Hey Screen Rant, What If Alternative Timelines are shown in the MCU prior to Avengers Endgame (2019). Alternative Timelines could be shown in the MCU through through The Incredible Hulk (2008) and Marvel Television Shows from Freeform, Hulu, ABC, Netflix etc. Multiverse could become an important part for showing various characters from Marvel Television in the MCU Movies like James D'Arcy reprises the role of Edwin Jarvis from the Agent Carter series in Avengers Endgame (2019).
A comic book is usually only twenty six pages (At average) while a graphic novel is usually novel length. Many graphic novels are five or more comic books compiled together but not always.
What amazes me is that most of those series, for example Preacher, the Boys or Umbrella Academy were advertised on the get go as comics' adaptations. Fan didn't have to know it, they were directly told even by you. And saying that Ennis likes the weird to describe him would be like saying James Ellroy likes guys who drink a lot. And saying that the actor who plays Lucifer in this sorry excuse for a sub-par Buffy, although fairly good in his role, doesn't match the comics' which seem widely inspired by David Bowie and is written way better.
@@amandapike2477 A new "The Sandman" and "Sweet Tooth" series is in the works for Netflix. But I don't think they will give the DC or the VERTIGO logo.
“Happy” Surprise me along with River daily, because when I haven’t even heard of it. And I definitely didn’t picture there’s a comic book when I said in the video. But the rest of them even though I didn’t know they were comic books, when you think about it you can definitely picture them as a comic book a graphic novel
Maybe they don't mean the ones that know lol. Of course there's a lot of people that'd know. A lot of people don't read comics but have watched these shows.
I don't see what's surprising here, a lot of these shows were based on pretty obscure titles. I never heard of Wyona Earp before this, or Slumptown, or Warrion Nun although I have finished reading read most of the other titles here.
@@arkadeepsharma I guess I can understand Stumptown and the obscure ones like you said. Half of them I haven't even read the source material myself but I did already know the shows were based on them. Honestly I watched the entire pilot of Lucifer before I put 2 & 2 together and realized it was based on Vertigo's Sandman version. I missed the opening text I guess.
Screen Rant's videos are getting more idiotic with each release. And that's saying a lot. What's next.... "The Earth Isn't Flat, and the Fans who never knew...."?
i want screen rant to do the office again whos with me?
I'm good but if they make it,hope it makes those that want it happy.

I came here to ask about that. I had no idea what that show was.
Same. Thanks lol. Ryan George is the only thing worth a damn at SR
Yeah, what he said. What gives? Shoulda edited at least a text caption on the show title if you guys feeks it's not worth mentioning.
Luke, thank you elaborating because I too had no clue what the name of the show with the nun was, in bed with pneumonia, I now know what to binge watch.

You gotta be a sad sap if you didn't know that Batman or any of the members of the Justice League, or Avengers were from comic books
1- Lucifer
2- Preacher
3- The boys
4- Umbrellla Academy
5- Warrior Nun
6- Snowpiercer
7- The end of the f***ing world
8- Stumptown
9- I, zombie
10- Wynnona Earp
I just saved you 10 minutes 👍
Who doesn’t know that TUA was based on a comic series?
Edit: Seriously? How come so many of y’all didn’t know? Doesn’t every TUA fan know?

I'd assume anyone who either doesn't read comics or doesn't watch the show both being me.
Lucifer is the son of "The Presence" making him one of dc's most powerful characters
ngl we knew all of this 😇
Me too.
Awesome video 👌
Lucifer was on Fox and everyone knows it was based on a comic, DC appears in the credits lol! He was also in the crossover.
You never said the name of Warrior Nun. I had to look the premise up online.

I love that he says the success of the MCU and... Well 3 of the batman movies
Wow number 7 blew my mind I've seen that series and I loved it
Human Target, a DC Comics property that was made into a TV show and starred Mark Valley, Chi McBride and Jackie Earle Haley. I LOVED that show!
Timecop this series was a spinoff of the film which in turn was based on story from dark horse comics presents
I remember the tv series Timecop.I wish they would put it on DVD.I have Timecop the movie on dvd.
Comic book/ graphic novel- same exact thing right
Comic books are like magazines, graphic novels are like novels.
A comic book is usually only twenty six pages (At average) while a graphic novel is usually novel length. Many graphic novels are five or more comic books compiled together but not always.
we need more series like this and less hollywood fluff
Q: How do you talk to giants?
A: Use big words!
Only those who have a casual knowledge of comics or no knowledge wouldn't have known that these shows were based off comics and or graphic novels.
Stumptown actually got cancelled a week ago.
What's the name of the fifth series??
Warrior nun
Thump'n'Guts would be awesome onscreen!
Foolkiller and deathlok too
Yes! Foolkiller is one of my fav comics.
The Boys is my favorite comic TV show.
Should have called top 11 tv shows that started as a comic book
Netflix needs to bring back I Am NOT OK With This.
FOX NOT FX LUCIFER STARTED ON FOX
Okay but like half of these are pretty obvious that they were comic books before.
I Know All Of Them Were Comic Books.
I screamed when I saw Reginald from Umbrella Academy! Love that show!

Keshang _Laow it’s end of the f***in world
10 Screen Rant videos who's titles are utterly wrong...
I love the show Warrior Nun
You guys should make a pitch meeting from the blade trilogy
Wait Lucifer is pretty commonly known as a comic book before the comic
3 DC TV shows ( Lucifer , Preacher and iZombie ) made it on the list 🔥
Which insults a lot of people's intelligence, especially with how popular The Sandman still is.

Who didn't know Lucifer was a comic book. Your not a true fan if you didn't know that
Q: What time is it when you have to go to the dentist?
A: Tooth hurty!
"True fans" are a niche though. A lot of these comics have a fan following.
A children's series called the deep was a very good graphic novel
Lucifer started on FOX not FX....
I thought the title said shows we DIDNT know were based on comics... are they serious!?
Maybe they don't mean the ones that know lol. Of course there's a lot of people that'd know. A lot of people don't read comics but have watched these shows.
What's the name of number 5, it wasn't mentioned and I think this is happening kind of often with these lists!
WTF! All of these were well known to be based on graphic novels...
I'm too much of a nerd I always know/have read haha.
What is the name of 5th show
I love the show umbrella academy and I can’t wait to read the comics
Would count Lucfer as a comic adaptation in name only as it barely as any resemblance tto its source material.
Early love that show even books
You should do cowboy bebop live action pitch meeting
Man's put more effort into pronouncing the french creators of Snowpiercer than naming the actual items on this listicle video
You forgot daybreak
Most of these everyone knew. Everyone knows umbrella academy was a comic
"Lucifer" seriously?
What show was #5 , he never said ?
Warrior nun
@@evster6343 Thank you
Technically Lucifer is an angel
I find your lack of respect for Singers X-Men and Raimis Spider-Man disturbing
