Today we will look at another premium American Tier 8 tank destroyer TS-5, the nation of the USA, which has not received development branches for a long time and premium vehicles also appear quite rarely.
This tank destroyer is intended for upgrading the crew primarily for the American tank destroyer level 10 T110E3. In style and gameplay, it is similar to the Tier 8 tank destroyer T28.
To better understand what this unit is capable of, first of all, it’s worth saying that we have at our disposal a good margin of safety by the standards of our classmates, but the basic viewing range of 370 meters let us down, this will not be enough.
If we consider the TS-5 performance characteristics of the reservation, this is a very controversial point. The strongest part of our vehicle is the forehead; the wheelhouse and hull are armored really well, but only by the standards of the eighth level. As soon as your opponent charges golda, or if level 9-10 tanks shoot at you, the armor immediately turns into mediocre.
Regarding the sides, they are cardboard; the TS-5 tank can easily penetrate any firefly. The same applies to a thin roof and an even thinner stern; you only need to face the enemy with your forehead. By the way, there is still a vulnerable hatch on the roof, it’s also very easy to get through here, you just need to get in.
The mobility of the TS-5 World of Tanks tank destroyer is very poor. Our maximum speed is very low, we move backwards completely disgustingly, the dynamics are terrible. As for maneuverability, this parameter is no better; even a more or less mobile rod can easily spin us around.

As you can see, the general characteristics of our American vehicle leave much to be desired, but do not despair, the situation with weapons is better here.
The TS-5 gun is far from the largest at the alphastrike level, but we were given a good rate of fire, due to which we can deal almost 3000 units of damage per minute, this DPM is quite high at the level.
Regarding the armor penetration parameters of the TS-5 World of Tanks, everything is also quite good, basic shells are enough to penetrate even level ten armored vehicles into vulnerable places, but it’s also worth carrying about 20-30% of gold shells with you.
If we talk about accuracy, the tank is very mediocre. And the TS-5 World of Tanks comes down quickly.
The last thing I want to say in terms of weapons is that we have fairly comfortable horizontal aiming angles; you can rotate the gun 10 degrees to the left and 10 to the right. But the UVN of the TS-5 PT-SAU was greatly let down; the gun goes down only 5 degrees and this will often not be enough.
Advantages and Disadvantages of TS-5

• Very poor mobility;
• Uncomfortable vertical aiming angles;
• Poor accuracy;
• Poor visibility.
Tactics for playing the TS-5
Of course, in order to play this tank well, it is very important to understand its strengths and weaknesses, as well as to be able to use this knowledge. However, in the case of the TS-5, combat tactics are based on the fact that this unit is very slow and clumsy, for this reason we will almost always use an ambush style of combat and fire at long distances.
The first thing we need to take care of is occupying the most advantageous position from which a good shot will open in the chosen direction, to which we will not have to travel too long in the TS-5 World of Tanks and from which it will be difficult for enemy artillery to shoot at us.

Пт огонь. Взял на марафоне
Приветствую, я новичек в танках, однако комьюнити игры не особо приветливо в ней, новичкам не подсказывают игроки, многие гайды многолетней давности и т.д. Буду благодарен если вы сделаете топ танков за золото 8 лвл, чтобы данный топ был актуален и с пояснением, ведь среди всех игровых механик и множеством техники новичку трудно подобрать хороший прем танк для фарма в новом 2023 году, спасибо за контент, буду благодарен вашему ответу.
для фарма серебра отлично подходит, но для постоянной игры надоедает своей медленностью.
слабоватая пушка на пробитие по ощущениям у TS-5
я люблю 6лвл АТ-8...Имба лютая❤☺️ там топовая пушка голдой дает прикурить и 8 лвлам(3.5 перезаряд , 215мм пробитие)

Это штурмовая пт,а не засадная!Борта у неë отлично танкуют,а точность орудия не позволяет играть на дистанции.Посмотри обзоры топовых игроков,чтоб вкурить эту пт!

данунах! с очень большой натяжкой, особенно, когда из 10 каток 4 с 10-ми, 3 - с 9-ми 1-2 одноуровневых и 1(а то и ни одной вообще) в топе, и при этом в союзниках 60-80% попадаются бесполезные овощи, наполовину дохнущие за первые 2 минуты, а ты ещё даже до позиции не доехал!!!
штурмовая(на 99%) - это торт!!! хорошая скорострельность и точность, отличные увн-угн, благодаря которым можно ромбовать!
а пятак по сравнению с тортом на штурмовую слабо тянет, особенно когда союзнички нихрена тебе не помогают.
часто бывало так: едешь с тяжами давить направление, давишь(как потом оказывается, уже в одиночку), а тяжи или уже передохли, или стоят от башки х.з. где, и ждут твоего засвета, а вражины ставят на каток и тупо расстреливают в борт и корму, и ты с 1-2 тычками(а то и с нулём) улетаешь в ангар.....такая херня не раз бывала
я думаю на TS-5 нужно играть в клинче(НЛД и люк защитить, тк люк сзади , в клинче его не достать!!!)) и выцеливать слабые места у тяжей
или на дальних расстояниях , где врагу сложно прицелиться
а вы средние дистанции выбираете, не считаю 😅что это правильный выбор дистанции игры для этой ПТ
Думаю дай возьму...простоо все шьют в лоб по бокам пушки кому не лень это чё за паражняк? Причем не просто в какое то конкретное место а вообще вокруг всей зоны пушки везде дыры. и это штурмовая? я стоял спрятав нлд и прохерачили во все дыры...лучше бы взял ис там хоть геймплей интересней
