hey mate, quick question just bought that model new from ks, and I can pull the dropper post up without pushing the lever, it goes straight down though, not sure if this is normal, it doesn't affect the dropper post mechanism though?
Something must have been setup wrong or a dud. But good news is their warranty would take care of any issue. My guess is you had too much cable restriction.
@@Jamesthebikeguy I have never done that so I don't know from experience but I imagine it might cause a sticky situation as brake cables are approximately .5 mm thicker than shifter cable.
Thanks for the review ! I wasn’t aware of the KS brand, and after some googling found many options for my bikes.
They make some great stuff at reasonable prices
Don't buy the ks lev si it's garbage
Nice review! I bought ks lev integra two months ago and it’s great. Looks the same as SI version. Post with good price/quality factor
That's a good idea for the future do a price/value score for these parts

I have a ks lev si that came stock with my bike and it's horrible! It's started jiggling a bit and it gets squishy multiple times in a ride
Don't buy this dropper

Good video
It is a standard shifter cable not a brake cable just FYI
well good point. The shift cable goes in with their barrel adapter, but you can run a traditional brake cable in backwards for some other levers too.

KS Brand good review
Indeed.
how on earth can you consider this a review , when you dont even make it operate on camera.
Watch another channel if you like.
@@Jamesthebikeguy c'mon it's hardly an inaccurate comment
